SO I was listening to the news and they were telling the story of this dumb lady. Get a loud of this.... THis lady goes into a convenience store, says she has a gun and demands money. The store person confronts her with something behind the counter and the woman leaves. But she comes back alittle bit later to buy a drink. Can you believe it? Makes me wonder what these people are thinking. Your thoughts.

Sounds like she had a moment of a super spontaneous action and when it didn't work...oh well...back to life in the normal spectrum. I don't know..there are some people out there that I have thought are "wired" differently...lol.

Yes, I think "wired" differently is a nice way of putting it. This mylotter I responded too yesterday told the story of a mother who went into a fast food restaurant with her two teenage sons. She ordered two hamburgers for her sons one with bacon and one with out. Later she is seen going back up to the counter and complaining that her son who ordered the bacon on his got one with out and the who ordered it without got it with bacon. Can you believe it!?

Gotta love those Dumb Criminal stories, even though I wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of one of their demands in case they weren't just crazy, but crazy and Armed...I was just reading there a little while ago about a Guy in a COW suit, going into Wally World, loading up a cart with Gallons of Milk, and just rolling it out the door, unhindered by anybody..apparently he then proceeded to give it away to passers by,before being found still in possession of the suit and arrested.I'd LOVE to have seen the security footage of that, but it's claimed there was none available...

If they were thinking, they wouldn't do something stupid in the first place. So doing something in the second place that's stupid, while redundant and pretty incredible to the rest of us, just follows their logic which they don't really have to begin with.

Its not just the lady who is dumb but even the store person who is also dumb. Why? As soon as the lady came back he should have called the police and got her arrested as her motive in the first visit was robbery. The police would have taken her to the police station and questioned her.It seems to me that she is mentally unstable. If so then she would have been let off with a warning. No person with a sound mind would go back to the store after threatening the employees with a motive of robbery.

Well if she was sober then I have to say that she really must have been thirsty :P Was she trying to steal money in the first place or just some drinks? :P

I think we all do things that come as second nature to us and I don't think she was even thinking about she had done previously. Just that she was thirsty.

Oh, yes. There have been great stories of people lifting cars off loved ones and such.

Yeap probably you are right. In cases like these that a person's adrenaline level is high he might do things without much thinking.

You gotta admit that she was not thinking. Or her thinking is kind of twisted. She may think that she did not succeed at committing the robbery, there fore she can feel safe from arrest.
