It may be the shortest domain name / myLot

I am surprised to find that lately Amazon in China has a new domain name and it is z.cn and this is the shortest domain name I have ever known. Probably it will be much more convenient for the customers to visit this website. Amazon is very smart

My DNS tells me that http://z.on doesn't exist. The correct URL for Amazon China is http://www.amazon.cn

Sorry, I misread! z.cn redirects to http://www.amazon.cn/ref=z_cn so it's a redirect (using a script) rather than an actual domain name.

This is a short one. Glad to hear Amazon is branching out. Overstock.com is also O.com so they are shortening some of them. WOnder why. I do like Amazon. I am glad to hear it is doing so well.

That's a great idea, especially for people who may not be used to the Latin alphabet. I think that countries that don't use the Latin alphabet should do similar things. Maybe Z.ru for Russia, or Z.gr (?) for Greece. That would make it a lot easier for people who are unfamiliar with the Latin alphabet.
