Ya, we just had a hail storm. Rain came up fast, turned to hail and was over in about 5-10 minutes. In the countie just north of here there were wend of 75 miles an hour. The hail was an inch in length. Now it is 70 degrees. Funny how weather happens and then goes back to normal as if nothing happened. Have you had any weird weather lately? What happened? Thanks.

Over here,It was Grain Rain -6th solar term- a couple of day ago.The next one is the Beginning of Summer that begins on May 5,6, or 7.Small wonder an old saying goes:"April is a treacherous month for weather." It is cold one minute and hot the next. The temperature was 30 degrees centigrade the day before yesterday.

In our area we have the saying: "If you don't like the weather just wait five minutes."

It is really a figurative expression!

Yes weather can be moody sometimes. There wasn't any weird weather where I am, so I can't really respond to that: but I do remember one time (about 7 months ago) when It was all sunny, and suddenly 5 minutes after that rain started pouring, and the wind blew so much it lifted me off my feet for a couple seconds.

Yes, it certainly can. We get Spring Rain here which is some what like what you describe. Sunny day and then suddenly we get rain. No wind though. Lifted you up off your feet? I have never had that happen except once when I had had alittle too much to drink. Hee hee

A lot of strange weather seems many times to go around us. Though over the years we have had some.. wind and rain so hard I thought I was looking out at a wind tossed lake.. that one brought sown a bunch of trees but they were up and down the road form us. We have lost an apple tree (laden with apples) during a storm and the top half of a big pine tree not so very far from the house.

Once when I was a teenager and over at my girlfriend's house there was a big storm. She lived in an barn-like house and the wind came up pretty suddenly and before we knew it the big tree at one side of the house had been snapped in half and was laying in the storage room at one side of their kitchen. Ugh! Happens so fast.

Personally if you can find a place here in the US that has not been having some strange weather so far this yr, tell me. I have been hearing strange stories all the time from all over. I know here in the Seattle area we might have 70s one day and then like 2-3 days later just barely in the 50s. I think though personally this is going to be an extreme heat summer, and everyone is going to be dying. Just hoping I am wrong.

Same thing here. Here's to keeping cool. Hope it doesn't affect your wound adversely.

We had hail at 40 degrees, colder up where the hail was made and fell so quickly that it didn't have time to melt is my guess.

Hot,Hot and Hotter! It was 90 degrees here today and it isn't supposed to be at all. We really didn't have much of a winter so I knew summer was going to be rough but I didn't think it would be this early.

We've been having 50-60 degree weather and even had thunder and lightning this evening. I'm in no hurry to get back to 90's and higher. Ugly!

I saw about a week ago that they had four inches of hail in Texas. We have had tornadoes already this year and some more severe weather. It is summer type temperatures today and tomorrow.

Hail must be in the stars. It can do alot of damage in a very short period of time. Mild winter here too. Very mild. I think it snowed briefly here about three times. You never know what is going to come up. Getting caught out in the mountains and clouds bursts can be deadly. Yes, good and the bad. Dear ole Mother Nature.

Weird weather has been happening quite a bit lately. Yesterday it was 95;degrees. Today it is 60 and has been drizzling all day! I wish it wouldn't change so drastically because it gives me a headache.

Ya, those sinuses really act up with this crazy weather. I am freaking thinking about the end of the world. All these extremes and SS going down really scares me.
