"In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job to date: Inception." It wasn't really my cup of tea- it was totally mind boggling and confusing...I am at conflict too, until now if Cobb did wake up or not...maybe that is what makes a good movie- you still argue with yourself about stuff that happen in it.. It was fun to watch and i also learned something about letting go and choosing to live for the ones that are with you..

I half-enjoyed and half-hated Inception myself. I enjoyed it because it had loads of interesting dream science and I'm a sucker for fiction that centers around dreams. I didn't really find it mind boggling, but I hated the ending and that's the part of the film that made me half-hate the whole film. I despise open endings. I don't like being left with too many questions, it just ruins the film on the whole for me.

I disagree, I don't like making up my own ending. I prefer a resolution, for good or ill. I think the point of storytelling is to present a complete story, and I'm not big into being presented partial stories.

But at least open endings can make you accept your own ending.. It is for you to decide whether he really does be with his family in reality or it was all just a dream. it makes you think and appreciate the movie a lot more.

This is a Decaprio movie right? I have seen it too. Its waking up from a dream within a dream. Mind boggling, I must have not understood it. So maybe if there is time I'll watch it again.

Yes, that one with leo as the lead actor. I just watched it once and what i don't get is what CAN happen in the dream, it looked lie it was just ordinary... i was also wondering whey people attacked them in the dream, guess i need to watch it 2 or 3 times again ..

I like the ending because sometimes when we discuss open endings with people we could try who's being positive and negative. I'm more on the positive so i believed that he got what he wanted after all and no it was no longer a dream!

I am looking at the positive too- I read both versions and I think the reality theory makes more sense.. A movie shouldn't be made too complicated- some even said all of it was a dream...

I thought most of the movie was pretty straightforward as long as you really pay attention. I loved this movie. The whole part of that last dream I was sitting on the tip of my chair, tapping my feet and holding my breath xD. I think the ending is very nice. A lot of people hate the open ending but I don't mind. Whether it's a dream or not, he's happy and has his children back. Does it really matter in which "dimension" (for the lack of a better word) he's living then?

I loved the ending too- I thin it was reality though since the totem sounded like i was going to stop, and that totem isn't really that reliable.. At least he is happy..

The movie is great. For me it's one of the greatest movies I have ever seen. I like movies that make you think about life, that make your think differently. That story is great, even the effects. It's a blast.

Well, yes the effects were superb- if only our dreams can become reality, life would be so much more exciting.

I love inception too, I remember long time before I watched inception I have had an experience about dreaming in four layers and when I went to watch this movie it feels like a flash back. Sometimes it keeps me wonder, can we really do that???

Maybe- since technology is becoming more and more advanced there will come a time when that will be possible.. I can't relate to this movie though since I never remember my dreams when i wake up..not one bit

It sounds like a good one to be able to watch at home, taking your time.. I like to pause movies and come back later!

Yeah, this movie would definitely have lots of pauses and rewinds since it gives lots of information and dream within a dream within a dream sequences... also limbo.

This is one of my favorite movie all time. The plot is so good and the story is mind boggling and confusing. I have seen the movie twice and even though I know the story, it still makes me use my mind to think. :)

It's a great movie. Leonardo Dicaprio is a top actor and christopher Nolan is one of the best directors ever, and probably the one who is making the best films in the last years. Movies like inception, prestige and his perspective on batman are on the top of the modern cinema movies. I still cant wait to watch his third batman movie, the dark knight rises!

I love Christopher Nolan's movies too- they usually end with a twist and the mood and directing is very good... I first saw Prestige and it was really nice. I can't wait for the Dark Knight Rises- it looked nice.. I think he's making a reboot of batman though.

Yes. I was browsing on imdb the other day, and i noticed they mention a batman reboot. I am not really sure why he would do that, as I think his current portrayal of batman and gotham can't get any better. Not to talk about the batman's cast. He has some of the best actors for every role. My only complaint is that katie holmes didnt participate in the second movie.

Inception is just a science fiction movie, but when I first watched that movie, it was an awesome experience. Theme of entering human minds through dreams occupied my thoughts, an entire week. I think Cobb got what he wanted. Really I wanted that totem to topple. I think Mai was a bit silly to die.

yeah, I want to have that totem too- it looked so cute. An idea is just very powerful, if you get someone to believe in something, sometimes it is hard to take it back.

Inception is one of the best films I have seen, the concept of stealing your secrets from your dream was wonderful...

yeah, it's fascinating and scary since some of the people are very good extractors and if you are a powerful person with tons of secrets--beware. This was a really interesting and mind boggling movie.
