When Replying To The Responses To Your Discussions

have you had it to where you finally get around to replying to a response to your discussion just to see its A YEAR OLD!!?? i get so much email mylot gets lost 90% of the time and unless i do a search some get lost for a LONG time. i feel stupid in replying so late but i like to reply to everyone if possible (unless its a response with 2 words) even if i made a filter i have no time to check it because i do that with friends that start discussions and you see how often those get responses from me. it feels stupid to reply but i dont want to be a post post post and nothing after that! have you ever replied to a discussion that is REALLY old? do you not reply if its been awhile or after X amount of months? do you feel its silly? i feel silly but i feel the people that took the time for my discussion should get the same time from me even if its been awhile... and hopefully i will do better LOL
