When Replying To The Responses To Your Discussions

have you had it to where you finally get around to replying to a response to your discussion just to see its A YEAR OLD!!?? i get so much email mylot gets lost 90% of the time and unless i do a search some get lost for a LONG time. i feel stupid in replying so late but i like to reply to everyone if possible (unless its a response with 2 words)
even if i made a filter i have no time to check it because i do that with friends that start discussions and you see how often those get responses from me. it feels stupid to reply but i dont want to be a post post post and nothing after that!
have you ever replied to a discussion that is REALLY old? do you not reply if its been awhile or after X amount of months? do you feel its silly?
i feel silly but i feel the people that took the time for my discussion should get the same time from me even if its been awhile... and hopefully i will do better LOL

It takes me a long time to reply too....I have over 3000 in my email!!!!
Obviously, more come in than I respond too.
No, I don't feel silly answering older posts. Why would I? You shouldn't either.

i get a ton of mylot emails and a ton of other emails daily so im just slammed all the time lol

I have an 1 email address set up just for mylot posts. Nothing else come to this email. it is a lot easier that way.

I've gone like 3 or 4 months that where I didn't know someone had responded to my discussion. But as soon as I know someone has said something on any of my discussions I try to answer them back with in a few hours to a day or two.

i wish i could that fast. i had a few months where life was crazy and a week with no internet and it just went downhill from there. before i got behind on here (yrs ago) i would answer the same day or so on everything

I've gone several months with out internet but I finally found away to get the internet through having and ipod and then well hecking into some other peoples internet to use because they had and open line of wifi instead of having it locked up. Now we can afford our own internet which ours is locked so only the if I give out the password will that person be able to get in and its not an easy password.

I don't log on to mylot everyday and it's been a while since I've checked my own discussions. Usually when I post discussions, I get notified of responses and I give first priority to that....but sometimes I find that I am not aware of responses or comments. It is possible it got into the spam mail or maybe I was not notified. Such comments I view much later...maybe year/s later. I always reply to them when I see them.

The only time I would feel stupid is if its very old and the person who started the discussion in the first place as a number next to their name like 25...meaning they haven't been around for a while....when I do best response I also check for this...if the discussion is old I give it to someone whose numbers indicate they are still visiting mylot.

When we get involved in some other things we forget mylot that is when these things happen. Generally speaking no one with any particular intention does this. It has happened with me too quite often and as you say I too felt rather very silly in replying but still I do reply however late or silly worded their responses are.

yeah unless there is no way of making sense of some ones reply or its 1-2 words i try to reply to everyone no matter what when i can get around to it
