Forgot the Milk

I fix scrambled eggs for myself almost every Saturday morning. This morning when I added in the pepper, I noticed it wasn't mixing as well but I didn't think much of it. Then when I was cooking the eggs, even though the stove top was on about the same setting as usual, they cooked a lot faster. It was only when I sat down to eat them that I realized I hd forgotten to add a little bit of milk before cooking them. That was what had caused all the different things. They were still good but not as good as usual.

When I make scrambled eggs, I never put milk in with them. I just put the eggs into a bowl, whisk and cook. Your might taste a lot better than mine though.

I only use milk when making scrambled eggs for my son and husband, I prefer to use water and found out on this cooking show that to make the perfect omelet, water is better than milk..

I usually add a splash of milk to my eggs too. It helps bind them.

Do you mean like pepper peppers or like black pepper. I never put milk in my eggs at all it makes it running or gooy I don't like gooy eggs. I do them with out always but I only add salt and bit of black pepper in my eggs.

I'm talking about black pepper. Usually I stir the eggs well, add just a little milk just by eye so to speak, I don't measure it, stir that and then add some black pepper and stir that up well. Then I put them in a skillet that I have melted a little margarine in that I have swirled around so the skillet is coated. I sprinkle a little salt in then after they start to cook. I usually end up with nice firm scrambled eggs. This is the only thing that I cook that I add salt to.

I always just put a little bit of butter in it to keep it from stickying to the pan to much and it helps brown it a bit. I like my brown. My husband likes milk in his and I don't. I always put a little bit of black pepper in to give it a bit of a kick not to much of course. I just let mine sit and cook after I've scrambled them.

I just used to make scrambled eggs in two ways. Sometimes i just make use of the milk and sometimes i just make use of them. It depends on the the amount of milk in my house.

I never put milk in my scrambled eggs, and I didn't know anyone did before I saw my grandmother make them.

I make my scrambled eggs in several ways and not always do I use milk. Sometimes I sort of like it omelette style, adding some minced chives or diced cheese. They taste like scrrambled eggs with a twist.

Sometimes we put milk, sometimes we don't. I hear purists do not add in the milk. I like the taste either way!! With scrambled eggs, sometimes I like to add sauteed mushrooms and provolone cheese before I take it off the stove - yummy goodness!!
