For some reasons, I was not able to concentrate on my career earlier. So I was grouped with younger individuals. They are much younger than I am. So I acted on the duration of our training the way an older woman should act. The other day, after we had done with our last activity, we felt so happy that we were able to conquer one of our greatest fear, speaking in public. We had a party after. They were singing dancing and having fun. I was tempted to get the microphone and started singing the song of Madonna Material Girl. I actually sing and dance and they were all shocked! because all the while they never thought that I could sing and dance. They thought of me as a shy type and timid.
The next day they keep on singing the song. They even played an MTV of the song as an ice breaker. They said they were really are surprised!

It is a dangerous practive to pre-judge people. The youth tend to have a more difficult time envisioning someone older letting lose and enjoying life. The great suprise is that people are full of surprises. It is fun to pull a little of yourself out of hiding ever now and again and just "sing".

I think that there are definitely times in all of our lives where we shock other people. Take me for example, for the most part I am a shy person and I really don't like to be in front of crowds. However, if someone puts me in front of a microphone with a song that I really like, I become quite a ham. I love to sing karaoke and that is one of the only ways that I like to be in front of a crowd. A friend of mine's little sister recently heard me sing for the first time and she told my daughter that I should be on American Idol.
