In my home I take care of all of the household bills. We have a shared bill pay account and each month we put in the same amount to take care of our month bills. But I am the one who handles the bill pay and all of the shopping for the home. Who's in charge in your home and why?

In the case of my parents, my mom is the one handling all the bills, paying them off while my dad is the one giving her money to do so.. haha BUt in the case with me and my gf, i'm the one handling all the money and bills since i'm doing all the budgeting, setting aside money for different purpose I prefer to take charge of money matters so that i can keep track on what are the things i spend more on, see if i can cut down on them in order to spend more on necessary stuffs

I am!!!!! Hubby's amazing in a lot of ways m, and can cook (I suck at cooking!) but I handle money better. Because of our govt benefits, and the fact that he's not Canadian, we can't have too many accounts, so he trusts me with his card, Abd I handle everything. I make sure we both have a fair amount of spending money every week, too.

I am in charge of all of the money between my partner and I, because I am the one who earns it. I work full time, and he doesn't have a job at the moment, so I am the one who chooses everything that we're going to buy with the money. A lot of my friends think that it should be him who is in charge because he is the man, but I don't think that it is fair to think in that way because I am the one who does all of the hard work towards it. I like being in charge and I don't think that I would ever want to hand over my money to anyone else to look after, as I am good with money and am good at being able to make it last.

i think it should be the person who is best with money. Not a man just because he's a man. that' silly

We are both responsible in handling money. There are some bills I paid. However, my wfe really holds most of our money. I just get some as my allowance or whenever I go somewhere, I just ask some addition to what I have. Some bills are being paid by her while some I do the paymnet. I guess, in a relationship, never make money a start of any argument. Ths is such unhealthy for any relationship.

my husband and I have a bill pay account. we just add enough money so we can pay our monthly bills. i don't have to give him an allowance. We don't argue about money because we both make it a point to handle our bills

I pay the bills in our home since my schedule is more flexible than my husbands. But my husband does a lot of the grocery shopping. So that is nice. It works out good for us.

I handle the money in our household. My OH is useless! He doesn't understand the value of anything and I've had to explain to him that money is in the bank to pay bills. If I left him to pay them, he'd never manage. I also earn more than him at the moment. All of our money goes into my account, I pay the bills and do all the budgeting. I like to be in control of it but it would be nice if I could trust my OH with that sort of thing!

I am in charge of getting the bills paid. My husband wants nothing to do with it. He takes enough money to get lunch at work and a few dollars extra and that is it.

The choice of handling money in dealing with the day today needs of the household is best managed by the woman in the family. They are quite a better planners of family budget and they have their own ideas about avoiding unnecessary expenditure.

Since I'm not married yet but currently in a relationship i am responsible for my own money but, i do also entrust it to my partner since we are preparing for our future. In decision making i asked for opinion since my partner handle different business. So, much more of the experience than i. If we already together i wanna be incharge in budgeting.

I am since I am also the only person who know the prices, is able to make a great meal out of nothing, who can do more with 10 cents as others can do with 1 euro plus I am the one who is able to safe and do a lot of extra even in times of need. I guess it's not only because I am raised like that (my husband lives by the day/moment, nobody ever teached him to make plans for the future, for later, for times in need).

Were both in charge of handling the money. I handle the groceries and other cookwares, then he took care the bills and shopping. My husband is very good in handling money than me, so I let him charge in our saving that he kept on the bank but also I have my on savings which I keep in our house for emergency reason.

I am the one who pays the bills and does our budget. Randy is a smart man, but he is not good when it comes to money. I know if I pay the bills they get paid on time and there is always some money left over for savings. I do the shopping and plan that budget as well. I am good at saving money while Randy is terrible at it.
