The Los Angeles King And The Stanley Cup

I don't know how many hockey fans we have on MyLot but it doesn't matter. This is sports history so I thought I would mention it. The Los Angeles KINGS hockey team are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. If they win the next game this Wednesday they are the champions for the first time ever in their franchise history. Yeah, we play ice hockey in Los Angeles, California. How are your home teams doing this year?

Let's hope the Kings win the next game at home. Since your post, the Kings have lost 2 to the Devils. I don't mind the Kings winning as they deserve it after all these years since 1967. I hope it's not like last year when the Canucks had a 2-0 series lead but ended up losing to the Bruins.

I know huh? Let's just pretend I never posted this. Nonetheless, we're just saying that we would rather have them win it at home. Getting a tad bit nervous, though I still believe they'll take all.

Many of my friends are really excited, as they are watching the games. The Kings are the local team and the thought of them winning would certainly make Californians happy to have a winning team. Most of the time we hear about the basketball and baseball teams.

Yeah, it's fun that they have center stage for once. They get upstaged by the Lakers or Clippers this year, or Dodgers and Angels. Ghheeeeez, what's a hockey player to do? I LOVE LA.

Hello my friend gtargirl Ji,
Well,we have no Ice in our country, where field required for hocky is avilable. High peaks and velleys get filled with snow/Ice in particular season. But I wish them to do well and retain title.

Unfortunately, my team (Detroit Red Wings) got knocked out early. I was hoping they would get another championship, but it just wasn't to be. Getting the first one in the history of the franchise is a big deal, so I hope they do it. Good luck.
