Endemol, the Dutch multi-million media company that created international reality shows and Game shows like Big brother,The voice,Fame Academy,Deal or No deal and many more have the most expensive and ambitious project ever.
This company makes Billions from Big Brother alone, cos almost every country have their own franchise of this show.
----
Another Dutch company named Bas Landscorp will try to be the next Endemol but their project is a more ambitious one.
Mars one!
Bas Landscorp apparently have more money than Nasa. they will send a group of ordinary people and make them live in Mars. This gotta be the most dangerous and expensive Reality show we can watch in the future.
Unlike Big Brother or Survivor though, Mars one is not a competition, the chosen cast will live in Mars for eternity.

I hope the audition is not exclusive for Dutch people.....
I want to audition once its open....

I am so watching this, when it comes on. I heard about the permanent colony on Mars, I wonder who would volunteer for this though.

I hope the cast will be regular people as they promise, not some rocket scientist. also they cant focus in one nationality in casting this one. this one is so big the cast have to be international.

How do you think law and order would be kept on such a colony. Would the people be able to make their own rules to society? I just watched the video, I would love to do it if I wasn't so firmly attached to this planet. It's an awesome idea.

are we healthy enough and young enough by 2023, I think I may start changing my lifestyle now, its a rare opportunity. from what i heard they will start with 8 people and every 2 years, they will add 4 more.

Of course they have more money than Nasa. Nasa is like... broke.
Seriously, they got their government funding cut off and lots of their programs are shutting down.
I can't believe we have the technology to live on Mars, it just seems totally unreal. And of all things, to put a REALITY SHOW on Mars? Wow... to me that just seems like humanity hitting an all-time low. Why not the Moon? It's closer. Less distance for the footage to travel wirelessly. If they can transmit wirelessly through space..

Well they were ambitious, The biggest advantage of colonizing moon over mars, is that its only 1 week together. Then Helium 3 is the ultimate energy source, as in it can kill the oil industry, the moon have plenty of Helium 3.
Who would have thought a Reality show producing company will make be the one to make Humans in Mars happen and not NASA. Unlike other Reality shows were people get voted off, No one will be eliminated in this one. Instead the cast will be extended every 2 years.
