I have read some of the strangest things here and posted some pretty strange things Anyway, reading just now I came across a comment and it was so out of subject, I just shook my head and said to myself, "that makes no sense at all"! have you ever done that? Also Ive read some discussions and comments here that Ive thought, "jeesh, that makes perfect sense. why havent I thought of that?" know what I mean? Now Im likely to see some comments on this that either makes perfect sense or no sense at all.

I have learned a great deal from some of the comments. I have learned how to deal with relationships, and that even people from other countries are going through the same trials and tribulations that we are. I have also learned some wonderful tips on making money online, and I hope to hear some more.

I have seen discussion and comments/responses that made absolutely no sense, and I really did wonder what the person was trying to say. Other times, however, I have read some comments/responses that might not have made any sense to some people, but they were made in a funny way as a joke, so if taken in that context, then they did make sense. I must admit that I have made some of these latter type comments, but I only do it when I know that the person I am talking to is going to understand what I am meaning even if they don't understand what I am saying ... understand?

I know that you are one of the people that likes to have fun on here, and I have seen you join into some of the fun, especially when you can further the discussion on certain people's discussions that do not mind when others have fun. I do know that there are some people that like to stay strictly to the topic at hand, and I really do try to do that on those discussions, but sometimes I just can't help but make one or two comments that are not necessarily relevant to the topic in the way that the original poster would like them to be.

Hi bunnybon Well, during the time I have been here, I have met all sorts of responses and comments - some said I am a troll, some said I am after money and some said I am a show off and lots more... None of those statements would have hurt or kept me thinking - Really? if they came from non-friends. Unfortunately, the lotters who said these golden words have been my long time friends at myLot. And on the good sides, I found one of my dear lotter friend jumping aboard and firmly stating that they were wrong. It really makes me feel that I have interpreted most of the people here wrongly? But then on the other hand, maybe this is how one learns

i was mostly talking about strange things said here like when you are discussing one thing and someone starts commenting about something else intirely

Ooppsss! So I just made another example to add on to that list of "mis-interpreted discussions" - that is me, confusions together - always

I have encountered that before. Sometimes that happens when the person responding does not either read the discussion and only goes by the title, or does not read the whole thing. So when they comment, it might make sense to them, but not to the discussion as a whole. I do my best to respond to discussions that I feel are interesting to me. And sometimes I have noticed that a discussion may start off one way, but as the responses come in, it might change a bit.

Well, part of the non sense, no sense, out of subject posts are people working toward their own plans or spamming people. The ones that make perfect sense are the ones that give real meaning to the idea of a discussion site. I cannot think of anything that really sticks out in my mind right now. I do understand what you are talking about.

yes you do understand. and like you, i sometimes think they are in such a hurry to make payout, they dont bother to read right or even perfect their discussions. in fact i think ive rushed up a couple of my discussions and didnt even put the question right i was asking. but i dont do that often either. but i do read all of what i respond to, i mean their post of what they want to discuss.

I know what you mean I feel exactly the same way. Sometimes you wonder what is in people's heads when they say the things that they do.

You must be reading some of my comments. No, really I have read some pretty off beat comments. SOmetimes it begins as a foreigner writing something hard to understand and then it begins to make sense but really doesn't. I am not sure where some people are coming from at times.

During the time that I have spent here I have seen many comments that weren't related to the topics at all. Some of them are mistakes. I remember one response that I got on a discussion and it had absolutely nothing to do with the topic, but the member who wrote that response was talking about another topic that I had started, so I think that she simply got things mixed up and posted it in the wrong discussion. Sometimes there are other reasons why the responses or the comments aren't related to the topics. Sometimes it is my impression that the member who responsed misunderstood the topic, maybe because English their first language. They thought that they were writing about the topic, but they misunderstood the intention of the person who started the discussion.

so true. most times some one is foriegn to the lahguage or meant to respond to another discussion, but i think some just dont read the whole thing asked and thats what happens. in any case its a laugh at times.

that is the fun of it, being able to comment waht you feel, we are all different people and have such different thoughts, and some of us do think more alike then others, and you are right some post so strange stuff.. and some people in there post when they read the question it reminds them of a similar time they had before in life and they get caught up in the moment .. and if some people live alone or dont have anyone to talk to , mylot can feel like a place of comfort .. or some like to vent.. it would be boring if we all said the same thing or thougth the same way, i usualy only answer the ones i can relate to.. i try not to post on a question asking about something that does not apply to me..

oh yes. i dont post on those either. its just that what made me asked this is i was posting on a good discussion, and read someone elses response that i just could not figure what the heck they was talking about? cant even remember it now but it was like someone asked about peaches and another person answered/responded about a cell phone i just shook my head and went on. it stuck in my mind for a while, but cant remember it now.

In all of the time that I've spent on here, I have certainly learned a lot from other members of the site. The things that I've learned have ranged from differences in cultures to suggestions of different things that I could be doing with my children. However, I have also seen that there are plenty of times that there are responses in discussions that don't seem to go with them at all and I often wonder why people do things like that.

yes some of them are enough off the wall i just shake my head and wonder and go on, i think its usually people that dont read the whole discussion.

I also read comment out of subject. Sometime I laugh also and feel some mylotter not read whole discussion and read only title and write comment. Mostly I read full discussion but if discussion is lengthy then read only half and write comment.
