I cant use certain brands of toilet paper if I do I get severe rashes down there, its so painful I can barely walk, and it burns and itches. So I normally use Royal or organic chemical free toilet paper. Many dont buy these all the time simple whatever is on sale. Now I petsit alot and I dont expect them to buy the expensive toilet paper for me. So I bring my own with me, or if I go out I carry some in my car or in my bag. My friend told me thats very rude, and I should suffer use what they provide. She doesnt understand the pain that if I do use it will cause me. She just thinks its preference and in my head.

You should of told her she was the one being rude and incensitive. It is not rude to carry your own toilet paper if you have an alergy or sensitivity to other toilet paper brands. Does she have any alergies such as for fodd? Tell her to eat some of that food and just suffer through it and that it's just all in her head and see how well she does! People like that make me angry :(

Nope, she doesnt have any health issues which is why I think she doesnt understand. Its hard trying to explain to others about the toilet paper many say its in my head.

It could also be because they don't see your bare bum at all so don't see what toilet paper does. But not everything is in your head especially if it comes up when you use different toilet paper!

It's not rude to bring your own. Even if it wasn't allergies, but just princessness, it's fine to bring your own. What is rude is to expect everyone to buy your expensive brand. You don't do that. I usually buy Kleenex or Lily brand, two of the more expensive ones. I have a poor friend who uses newspaper. I don't like it, bur I don't expect her to spend money she doesn't have just for me to wipe my tushy.

To suffer discomfort by using something that is not suitable for you would make no sense at all. Since you are buying the item that you are using then I fail to see how that can constitute being rude. You are not complaining to the householder or criticising their home in any way, so there is no problem in my opinion. I always buy reasonably basic toilet paper and do not bother about such abstract things as colour or brand. Nevertheless, I do choose soft toilet paper and avoid the products that have a crisp texture and fold rather sharply. We all have our own preferences, which should be understood and accepted without being classified as rude.

Continue to bring your own. Is your pain and discomfort worth more than your friendship with her?

Tell her this.. "I DON'T CARE!!! I don't see anything rude with what you did. I mean if I have the same problem as you, I would probably do the same thing.

She can't be much of a friend if that's how she views things. It is never rude to bring one's own supplies, especially if one is allergic to things. You shouldn't have to suffer, and no reasonable person would expect you to.

You cannot please anybody. Many will definitely think that you are just too vain for using such brand of toilet paper but the main reason is that you suffer from itching when using the regular ones. I gues when you explained to them properly, they will definitely understand your situation.
