My son is 3. He has discovered a love for all thing electrical, which believe me keeps us on our toes. Our kitchen has one outlet he cannot seem to leave alone. All morning he keeps touching it. So, last resort..I swatted his bottom. He is wearing sock monkey undies that I got from Target. His grandmother comes up to him and asks "Why are you upset?" His response.. "Mommy just spanked my monkey" OMG! I hope he doesn't get in the habit of saying that at preschool in a few weeks..but it is funny!Anyone else have a kiddie zinger to share?

Ersmommy That is so funny. Kids say the funniest of things I have 10 grandchildren and they all keep me laughing.

Thanks for the giggle! The one that immediately comes to mind for me is when my older daughter was about the age of your son. My mom babysat for me while I was at work. Anyway, one morning I got a call at the office and it was my mom laughing uncontrollably. When I asked what was up, she told me my daughter had arrived that morning and announced, "Grandma, did you know my daddy has a tail?" Evidently, she had pulled open the shower curtain while her father was showering and decided to share her new-found knowledge of his anatomy with my mother. So, of course, my mom says to me on the phone... "Well, lucky you! Enjoy your day!" and hung up, still laughing. Kids are fun

I think it is sweetest thing for your son to say. I think most probably he will forget it after a couple of week and will not say it again. I think most kids forget what they say within a week.

Haha!! That is too funny! I wish I had a similar funny story to share, but we don't have a little one just yet. We are expecting our first in a few months, and one of the things I am so looking forward to is seeing what funny things she will come up with to say! Little ones sure can be entertaining!

Oh, my. I don't have any human children yet, so I haven't any such stories. I only have cute stories of my various furry "children." They can be quite entertaining in their various antics.

That's too cute, kids are great! I love it most when they do little things like that that just amaze you. Always thinking how at their age do they know to say or do that??
