I went into work later yesterday as I had a doctor's appointment. I park in the same spot each time, but I guess my boss had too much on his mind and backed right into my car. I didnt realize as if you hit a pot hole it sounds like the cars are falling apart, and make loads of noise. He came in and told me, explaining he will pay for it all. He was all nerous, and jumpy after it doesnt look like much dmage, and I told him unless he shifted my frame and wrote it off, I wont put it through insurance (they will screw me big time in any situation, and my insurance just dropped).

well, it is not your fault so will the insurance still do that? anyways, its nice that your boss accepts that he did this and is willing to pay for it.

My insurance company will screw you left and right, they just want money. My insurance broker claims I'm severely high risk at my age so if even if someone hits me I'm high risk so it will fall back on me. This is why I avoid insurance companies with my life, and only claim if its worth it but eventually if falls back on me and my age.

I agree, at least your boss is nice enough to tell you about it and promised he'll take care of it. I know some who, just because they're "bosses" will actually try to shift the blame to someone or something else and no, you cannot challenge them because of their position.

It would make me all shook up as well if I had done that. I feel sorry for your boss, but at least he is honorable and will try to make it right.

Well that's a hard situation to be in. It's admirable that he was nervous and jumpy when he told you. I bet he thought you'd be extremely pissed and he'd also lose a valued employee. I hope that it's not the frame and that you don't have to put it through insurance as that would be awful.

this really is a cruel and sticky situation for you and make sure that you get the entire amount of insurance from your boss or else you will be in deep trouble for sure. Make sure to handle the case with much care and also without disappointing your boss and maintain your limits to satisfy him.explain your situation and also let him know that about your car and what exactly transpired

Sorry to hear this. I hope he fixes it for you. His insurance should be the one to pay, shouldn't it?

looks to me like more damage than you realized and will probably be 1000 to 1200 dollars to repair it so let your boss take over the bill as he did it. sh ame on him for mot being more alert there.

So this was what make your car get in to the workshop? He must have a lot to think and for me gladly it's your boss so there will be less issues as he will surely pay for it.

Geez, you have the worst luck with cars! Lol. I am really glad to see that your boss is going to get it fixed and everything. I don't blame you for not wanting to go through the insurance hassle. They will be a pain in the rear end about it I'm sure. I know that's how insurance companies are here anyway, especially if your younger...

Wow! Talk about sticky situations. He really must have had a lot on his mind. I couldn't really see the picture, but it's best to have a mechanic take a look. Nowadays it's whats under the fiber glass that gets damaged, and you can't really see anything.
