Should sperm donors have to pay child support?

I agree with the majority...no on the child support. Well like the one person said it the donor was there in person...hehe

The whole point of sperm donation is so single women or infertile couples can have a child. If a sperm donor had to pay child support, nobody would do it.

Why should they pay support when it is donated? Women who participate in these programs want to get pregnant. The donations are just that.

If the sperm was donated in person the old fashioned way, YES. If the sperm was donated indirectly through artificial methods by a medical professional, NO.

No Way!!! That's like saying that if someone gives their child up for adoption they should have to pay child support to the adoptive parents. When you choose to get pregnant by donor sperm basically you are adopting a child at an earlier stage.. you are adopting the sperm.
