First Goof Up at London Olympics: A flag mixup!!

The London Olympics have not yet kicked off officially and there is already a major goof-up. As the North Korean women's team came up to play in their match, the flag shown was that of the South Korean team. The North Korean team took offense to that and refused to take the field. The issue was finally sorted out after the organizing committee gave an official apology and vowed not to let it happen.
Of all the nations at the Olympics, this goof up had to happen with the most bitterest of neighbors and really sparked off a controversy even before a ball is kicked in anger!!
Is this symptomatic of what London 2012 has in store - high on hype and low on details? After the security personnel goof-up, this second goof up is really putting more pressure on the Olympic committee at London!!

That was like a red rag to a bull, the incompetence is beggars belief! I am afraid this will probably not be the first major blunder and it won't be the last. Someone's head should be put on the line for that. It's all well and good vowing not to let it happen, it shouldn't have happened in the first place, if someone had been doing their job properly. How often does UK get the chance to host the olympics? They should move heaven and hell to make sure it runs smoothly and with all eyes on the UK, any slip or blunder will erode confidence in the UK and we'll be looked upon in a very bad light. We have one chance to get it right, there should be no excuses and certainly no mistakes of that magnitude.

You know what's worse, the flag was a video displayed on a giant screen. As per the process this video is supposed to have been reviewed by another person. Then it supposed to have played out in front of the individual sports committee of that specific sport before putting it out. Apparently a few people have goofed up or were efficient in their jobs!!

i remember, i think it was a baseball game where the Americans showed our Canadian flag upside down! (which, i have heard, is generally an invitation to war).
i hope that the Olympics in London go off well as there often is much violence with protests and what not.
yes, of all the flags to mix up, those two would be the worst!
