In case you haven't heard, a brilliant 17-year-old girl won this year's Google Science Fair. I think she thoroughly deserved the prize, and she definitely has a strong career ahead of her! Check out the article... http://www.futureoftech.msnbc.msn.com/technology/futureoftech/17-year-old-girl-builds-artificial-brain-detect-breast-cancer-908308 I was completely blown away after reading this article. Not only can a machine detect early signs of breast cancer, but a high school student figured it out! She even said later in the article how she could probably develop it to detect all types of cancer. What do you think? We could use a few more high school students like this! Can you imagine creating a science project in high school that basically guarantees a career for you for the rest of your life? Amazing!

Wow, thanks for sharing articles like this. I am a Science Teacher from the Philippines. And i love reading articles like this. That is so amazing that a student was able to invent something like this. I would say she is really intelligent and blessed. That is so nice to hear that she was able to use her intelligence and talent to her advantage and to everyone as well.
