A person I know who is not really a good friend of mines. had gone out of town seeking a job..they have been stuck there without funds to return...Don't ask why would anyone leave home without a sure way home,I don;t know why...I just know his mother well... But when I spoke with him, he explained he has been waitimg for some one to send him money for days..So I offered to do it for him being I had the money and he promised to pay me back when he reaches home.. It was only $60.00.. He was very very appreciative.... I feel good that I was able to really help someone today...I do believe I will get my money back otherwise he would not have gotten it from me....

Hi, Great to know that you made someone happy today. I like to make others happy in my own small ways too. It makes me happy from within when I am able to bring a smile on to someone's face. I do hope that you would get back the amount you lent him. It is nice to help others when they have the need but we should always be careful about money matters. Some do have the tendency to take advantage of us being nice but not everyone is like that. Wish you good luck and happy Mylotting!

I hope he will repay you and he probably will if you know his mom.my best friend got an email to her and her son telling them an aunt of theirs was stuck in London England and were robbed of all their money so they' wanted Nelda to email two thousand dollars so they could get home to Kansas,. her son being really shrewd just called that Aunt Ruth in Kansas and she responded asking what it was all about He told her someone had got her name and used it to try to bilk money out of him and his mom Nelda.Smart people as Nelda was going to wire the money but her son told her to wait as he felt it was a nasty scam. which it was.

Hi Ms Hatley, It happened to my friend who been in the US visiting her friend, she emailed me forwarding the email of her niece asking to send her money because she lost her wallet and all credit cards and she was stock in the hotel and can't go out without paying her bill. My friend want it to verify and she ask me to ask her uncle if this is true I called her uncle and ask if her daughter really was. I confirmed that her daughter was with her here in my country but the mail was from UK. I told my friend to ignore all the mail it was a scam.

I hope he reimburses you. I imagine he will or maybe even his parents. I do get why he left home with no money because I've done it. I was really broke a few years ago but had to give one of my daughter's a ride to the Canadian border to work with her dad. It's about a 3 hour trip one way from where I live. I had just enough money for gas and maybe a few dollars to spare if I had to. We brought snacks and drinks from home. My car had not given me any problems or any reason to believe that it would. Well, when we got to my ex's place just a short distance from his home, it started running funny. By the time we pulled in his yard, it was clear that something was seriously wrong with my car. His place is more like a hunting camp in the middle of nowhere with a few scattered neighbors. It was like being in a time warp...seriously! Probably the most remote and unpopulated community, I've ever seen in my life! I was devastated but my daughter who knew all the neighbors said, "Let's walk to Sue"s. Her husband John is a mechanic and he will gladly help you out." I felt so awkward knocking on this woman's door but oh so desperate. She welcomed us in and fixed coffee. She was so friendly and kind. Her husband showed up from work and walked back with us to look at my car. He told me that I was not going anywhere that night but he'd fix it next day for 50.00. I did not have 50.00 but I had a check. He took it and trusted me that it was good. It was not spare money for sure. I had to re-do my budget but he trusted me ...a total stranger...how could I possibly do him wrong? This story is long but I'll end it here. It's a good feeling to help someone and the kindness of strangers is also such a good feeling. I hope this kid realizes and appreciates that.

When people are in deep trouble and you came to the rescue, that person would forever be greatly on what you have done to him. He/she will never forget it for the rest of his/her life. That is if the person is really good and not simply just pretending to be your friend. In your case, I'm sure that no matter what the outcome of the good deeds that you made to that person, doing good deeds will surely bring more return in you in the future. Hope that you stay that way and help people in need.

yes Full I know he apprciated it...he is not really my friend but he was someone in need and I was just in the position at the time that I could extend the help, even being on a budget. His mother is a friend of mine and I was comfortable makeing that gesture....

Wow this was a great act of kindness on your part. I would imagine it felt good to help this person and they were able to get home. I hope they will pay you back but I am sure they will too. We should reach out more often like this, or I guess meaning me, I should. It helps me feel good when I can help someone else.

Happiness is a key essential for our hearts - I would say that a healthy heart is a happy heart! We should pass on these sorts of acts more often in the world and maybe we would all be a little bit more healthy as a globe. Just my own thoughts on the matter though.

Remember we get our blessing by giving. You gave from your heart and by doing so you will reap the good deads that you sowed.

Thank you very much, I know in order to receive blessings from God we must let go of some other things...Now I am not saying it needs to be money but I did extend my self....

It was so nice of you ms. bjc, sometimes the return happiness from us when we help is priceless. Sometimes when I lend money to someone I just considered it give and not expecting a return that made me sad when they can't return it. But when they return I will be more happier

that is really so nice of you to help someone who you don't really know personally. if i was in your shoes, i wouldn't give his man the money. i had an experience before with a friend. he borrowed money from me, which is quite big. he promise to pay me as soon as his he will receive his salary. but now, i can't locate him. i can't call his phone because he changed his number. i hope he will return the money he borrowed from you. Goodluck!

When we help other whether monetary or in any other kind it adds to our happiness. Your attitude is really a nice one to adopt. It makes us delighted to see the delightful face of others whom we have helped in their bad times. A God is there noticing every act of ours. Always be happy and make others happy too.

Yes. It's really great to help other people and make them happy. It's one of the greatest feeling in the world. Sometimes, when I had a bad day, and I still manage to help others or I manage to help others or made them feel happy, I also became happy. And all of a sudden, that bad day will be transformed into a very good and exciting day
