Marco has his own litter box in his cage, but I have a cat litter pan in my room for the cats. It has the yesterday news litter in which is amasing doesnt give off the strong odours. Patches kept waking me up in the middle of the night to get out. I realized when I left Marco out for play time he would use that litter pan instead of his own. In the end the cats wouldnt use it, so Marco has claimmed it for himself.

I guess in that battle, Marco really did win. When we first got our second cat, the first cat that we had decided that he was not willing to share the litter box with his sister and that was something that drove me insane because I don't want to have litter boxes all over our house. I think that the reason that the two cats were not willing to share the same litter box was because of the fact that our first cat was a male and the younger cat that we had was a female.

Rabbit urine often has a strong odor, your cats probably do not like it.

Siblings... I'm not surprised that the rabbit has taken over something of the cats'. My late rabbit always seemed quite capable of getting the upper paw over the felines of the household even though she was greatly outnumbered.
