When your nightmare came true...

A few weeks ago I had a dream that somebody stole my purse. My two cellphones were there and my wallet only had $100. I was really worried of my cellphones because important contact numbers were there and all my foreign friends messenger ids were there too and there was no way I would be able to contact them anymore if i lost my phones. I was devastated in that dream and then me and my friends saw my purse but no more phones in there. Instead another phone was there and it wasn't mine. That day, I got an email from a former student telling me he lost his wallet and it contained much money in it including his IDs and important cards. He was so depressed. My nightmare came true not to me but to another person! How weird! Any similar experience?

Hmm,it can be a warning to you tobe more careful though it does not happen to you, you still have to be more careful specially nowadays, all prices are increasing and we can't stop it. be morecareful to keeping or holding your things cause anything can hapen in a split second. specially if the thief or snatcher works fast you didn't even notice..tsk Most of the time, people always have id's and phones or any contact informationss in one purse or wallet. so, tendency, snatcher or thief gets itt all, big time. we should somehow segregare and put them in diferent places forif one gotlost, there's still a something left.

You rarely leave the house? what do you ride on if you go out then? I guess you are careful enough and thieves don't see you much. If they have, they just didn't get their chance...

I don't think that's what the dream meant. You see, I rarely leave our house and when I do, I don't take public transportation and I don't go to crowded or dangerous areas. I don't go to malls that thieves frequent. I have never lost a single thing my entire life and though most of the stuff i have are very attractive to thieves, none of if were stolen.

I have my own car. I just don't attract thieves. When I go shopping I even flaunt my things. But I guess they don't like that. They like people who hide their things so they could steal them. If you have seen the documentary the Secrets you would know what I mean.

It has been believe that dreams brought a message in our life, there are times that we dream because we think a lot, there are also times that we dream because we are being warned to be careful and we dreamed to warned other people. Most of the time when I dreamed a serious dream it's for me, that is why if I don't like it or even if I like it, I always pray to God and let Him takes care of my dream. 2 years ago I dreamed that me and my ex fiance will break up without any reason. We will just come into a decision of breaking up and we're crying a lot. Two weeks after my dream, it did happen and it break my heart. I cried and been hurt for a month. I also dreamed that I will meet the man that is for me and he will be older than me and it happened. There was also a time during my university year that I dreamed about an activity and a month after that it really happened, same as what I've seen in my dreams.

You have a gift of prophecy maybe. In my case, i think when in my dream i found my purse and there's another phone, it meant that it was going to happen to somebody else.

toni, that's nice to hear of having a gift of prophecy but I guess it takes time for me to have it. But, somehow I can feel God is giving a gift of discernment; yet, I have to be certain to it as well. It's hard to claim having that kind of gift. With regards to your dream, I guess you are right. That other phone that you've found may mean that it will happen to other people connected with you.

Well, I am sure we have all had a dream that we could share as an experience or something that will help us be able to reach out and encourage someone else. Glad to hear that yours was just a dream, as I know if my purse was stolen and my Credit Debit Cards, etc. was in there along with my phone it would be a devestation for me as well. I had my tablet stolen earlier this month so that has been Bad enough. I hope you were able to comfort your friend, and try to help them figure out what they need to do from here since their wallet, etc. is gone.

That friend is from Korea and he just send me an email of what happened to him that very day. I did try my best to comfort him. He knew what he must do.

I've lost my wallet with all my identification in it. That was a wide awake nightmare. The whole thing was so incredibly inconvenient. The hundred dollars in it were there to pay a bill and that created no end of additional trouble though. I didn't dream about it first though. I do occasionally have nightmares but thankfully I can't think of any that ever actually came true.

I've never lost a single thing my entire life and i'm not wishing for it to happen. Though i'm very careless with my stuff, nobody has ever stolen anything from me.

Hi, It is very strange and bad dream. I feel sorry for you and your friend. We always want our happy dream come true. But this nightmare come true to your friend. It may be coincidence or can say intuition. Sometimes I see something in my dreams and it comes true but they are very simple dreams. Not bad like your dream. I haven;t such nightmare come true.

Purely coincidence. That student of mine doesn't even live in the same country as I do. He's too far away and it just so happened that I had a bad dream and his wallet got stolen or he just simply lost it.

That is very weird. Either it was just coincidence or an omen. Maybe it just means she should be more vigilant of your surroundings. Nightmares such as those may or may not happen. We are not always aware what will happen because things just happen. For me, dreams actually coming true such as that has never happened to me. I think that former student was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Random things like that happen to people and we cannot always prevent it from happening.

I think I know exactly what the meaning of my dream is. When I found my purse and there was a cellphone there that wasn't mine, I think it meant that it wasn't going to happen to me but to another person.

Wow that sure was an interesting coincidence. Many times throughout the years Ive had dreams that came true. Once when I was pregnant with my daughter I dreamed that I had my baby and it was a baby boy. I woke up and got the news that around the time I was dreaming that my cousin gave birth to her baby boy.

It is really very bad and terrible to encounter such a thing. Just one month ago, My husband lost his wallet in which there are his Id cards and bank cards and a little cash. now, more than one month has passed, but he still has not found it. I think he will lose it forever. After the lost, he called the bank to report the accident and got new cards from the bank several days later. The only thing that borthers him most is that he is afraid that some bad guy may use his id card to commit crime. But he can not do anything about it, neither the police station. It is a really bad experience. As a result of that, he had to cancel his train and postpone his journey.

The best thing to do is to report missing cards immediately. It's too risky.

I think many dreams are warning signs. This may be telling you to write this information down somewhere which you hold on your cellphones. It could also be reminding you to be alert and careful around strangers. Like you said, this really happened to someone else.

Could be but i never truly believe that my dreams are my own prophecy. The more i will think about that, the more it would invite negativity in my life. I think of it as just a coincidence. Anyway, i have not lost a single phone at all and i don't think i'll ever lose a phone.

Hi toni, I wouldn't prefer that my nightmares come true and I hope yours not too. But you should have all your important phone numbers on another place too, like as a word file or a note book. If you still have not done it, then you have a new task.

It's ok Rick. Losing my phones is the last thing that's ever going to happen to me. I'm about to change into a new phone in a couple of weeks.

Oh it reminds me of my situation last August 12,2012. It's not a dream but it's actually the reality. I lost my cellphone while I was walking from Department store. Somebody open my sling bag secretly and the bad thing I didn't notice at all. All my contacts lost.. :( What a bad experience.

Wow, it was just a couple of days ago. Not a good thing. My friend always lost something from thieves, cellphones, laptops, wallet, etc. Then we watch the documentary the Secrets and we realized that what we learned from there might actually be true. Nobody has ever stolen anything from me. And i hope it won't ever happen.

A million other people from the Philippines sure have a similar experience. The next time you had an unpleasant dream, it could be premonition, better not ignore. Sorry for the loss... stupid thieves.

yes, some dreams can be premonitions but then luckily, it didn't happen to him, but to another person. so, what does he had to do about it? warn all of his friends or all people to be careful?

@anna, i'm not a him! I'm a she! @Dan, my friend is not from the Philippines. Though I know it has happened to people from the Philippines, that has never happened to me at all. I don't think it was a premonition at all.

Oh, you dreamt about it but you weren't the victim in reality. I can't say that it's good for you because your former student is still the victim. I guess you're not happy about it too. Let's just be careful with our things from now on. Happy mylotting.

hi, i am so thankful because i have never dreamed again my nightmare when i was a kid,but i still remember it till now that dream,i was really afraid when i dreamed of that and sometimes i woke up in the middle of the night to run out from that dream.and i always pray not to encounter that in real life because i don't know what to do.
