Times...it has changed quite a lot. How could any one show up his real self when most things are covered up in hypocrisy and inward feelings.? Most things in daily existence are covered and governed in ways which are in a different note of usual living. Hypocrisy....it gains supreme in most situations.

I tend to be a person that protects myself in a lot of ways because of the fact that there have been many times in the past where I've been hurt by other people. The result of this is that there are really only a select few people in the world that really know me. I think that it really is best to not leave yourself to be an open book with everyone that you meet. The reason that I feel this way is that if you are completely open, then you will be hurt by other people much more frequently.

This is why people who are 'real' are popular and liked, as opposed to if they put on airs or are what we call 'phonies'! Then they are usually out for something.. want to sell you something or some other such thing.

Hey thanks for putting up this discussion. Even i feel the same as u do. Hypocrisy has taken the place of relationships, emotions and feelings in this world today. U can find people having feelings of love, faith and trust on u so much so that u feel as if they are tailor made to help u but the reality is something difficult. It is pretty tough to stay firm and calm during the tough times and when we are used to these situations, then probably we would be having a handful of experiences with us to handle any tough situations ahead. What say?
