After a very long time we have seen Indian cricket team winning dominantly. They have played like champions and overcome the opponent-England in all formats-bowling, batting and fielding. I was hoping for this kind of performance from a long time. I remember when australia was at the peak of the world cricket they used to win most of their matches by outplaying the opposition team. I hope that Indian team keeps on performing like this.

I do not actually understand the Australia analogy since they were never good at t20. They were dominant in 50 over cricket but not good at all in t20 cricket. Who knows, this could be their chance to set the record straight though. Coming back to the indian win, people should not get carried away since it came against England who are known to be poor players of spin.

Yes you are right Australia has never dominated in T20 , I was mentioning their monopoly for a few years and they won their games by crushing most of their opponents.

You are absolutely right,Australia at one time won matches with dominance. But,the performance of Indian Team is unpredictable. The graph is inconsistent. But as of now,I am hoping that India will win the T20 World Cup,as the pitches in Srilanka always help the spinners.

Yes team India is not at all consistent in t20 matches. But the Sri Lankan pitches are well suit for both the Indian bowlers and batsmen. We have seen it already in the previous match. And I hope they can perform well in this tournament too and win the cup. All the very best for team India .

That was amazing performance by team India, I enjoyed every moment of that. What this will do as it will create a selectorial headache for the next game. Harbhajan and Piyush Chawla's performance raise the question as to who will play the crucial Super8 games. They might pick 3 spinners, Zaheer and Irfan. Sehwag might have to remain on the sidelines.

At the beginign i was feeling that england batsman mignht take awys something from here but it was not likely that. I t was good fine bowling from Pathan at the begining who uprooted the openrs ans did dmages at the begining. When dhoni feel it is getting tough as england might go on track he bring harbhajji, who started in bang and the chwala who also did a good job and sent all the batsmen to the pavilion without making som usefull score to make the chse worthy. England lost the wicket quickly and it was allover for them Only one batmen make 30 others were out of runs. Finally England post the lowest t20 international total. Earlier Good batting from Kholi rohit as weelll as from Gambhir make India post a good total of 170. It was again kholi who did it for his team. It was almost all time match in INDIA favour and particulary in the second inngs England didn't able to give fight back. Totla confor for INDIA.

Yes, this is indeed a dominant victory by team India. And this win made us the group topper. Definitely it will increase the players confidence. India could not do well in their first match against Afghan, but yesterday Indian players performed really well and won the match .

Indian team played really well to demolish England. It exposed England's inability to tackle quality spin esp. with Peterson not in the team. Bhajji and Chawla bowled really well. And batters Gauti and Rohit along with Kohli batted well. Let's hope India continues to play like this in Super 8s too.

Yes, it was a long, long time since India had such a dominant victory. And it was really good to savor coming against England who had really humiliated India during their tour recently. Not only did India bat with purpose, the bowling was excellent. But it has to be said, that the batting from England was shambolic to say the least!! Cheers! Ram

It was a great win no doubt by Indian team. Rohit Sharma for once showed that he still has it in him to play great innings at crucial times. Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli were also good. However, what amazed me as how well Piyush Chawla and Harbhajan bowled. Harbhajan seemed very determined to put up a great show, after being out of Indian team for some time. Irfan Pathan also was impressive. Things look good for India from here on. Yet, I feel that Zaheer Khan too should bowl good enough in the coming matches.
