Intelligent brain

In our day to day life we can see many things happening. We common people think that they are just normal and nothing else. We don't want to know the reason behind it. Millions said the apple fell but Newton was the one to ask why. The scientists invented many things for us and made our life very easy. I always think that did the scientists have more intelligent or special brain? Hoe could they think differently than the common man? They are gifted with special brain by God and so they could discover all miraculous things in our life. What do you think?

I would think most inventions were out of need. You don't have to be a scientist to see the need for something.

I think bestboy have a point there! just imagine the people of long ago how to preserve meat and other types of food? well they came with the idea that salt preserve meat! and then honey and garlic to preserve other things! I'm sure they had trials and errors but at the end of the day they came up with a good idea...there was not science there just a common sense to make life easier.

Men capabilities of discovering is endless, this is what I think. Everyday there are new things to discover, if we only focus on it. We are given this skills and gifts by our Lord. With this, we must be able to use it to preserver our Mother Nature and for the next generation.

I think that they might not necessarily be more intelligent, but perhaps more alert, always wondering and questioning for reasons behind what they see happening.

Hi, You are right. They are always curious about everything and try to find reason behind everything. Thank you for the response.

God gives everyone gifts and special talents. I believe some scientists may have been gifted with the ability to be very intelligent but I don't think all of them were necessarily. Some scientists are just as common, so to speak, as we are. But they have a desire to understand the world of science and how and why the world works as it does. So, they put a lot of effort into learning about science. I don't think it means they are more special than the rest of us. Everyone, whether they are scientists or not, has to work continuously at learning about things. Some may find it much easier to learn things and that may mean they were gifted with a 'special' brain as you put it. But I believe anyone can learn as much as the scientists do if they have enough desire to. You don't necessarily have to be gifted to be a scientist or anything else for that matter. You just have to have the desire and the willingness to work hard at whatever you choose to specialize in.

I wouldn't really go to the extent of saying that the reason that there have been so many different innovations during the course of human life is solely because there were people with a special brain. Instead, I think that all people have the capacity of thinking in the same way. However, there are some individuals that have a tendency to question the way that things are as opposed to simply accepting things at face value. Therefore, I think that it is a matter of a person's personality as opposed to the quality of their brain.

Hi, you are right. Some people have the tendency to ask questions and always try to find reason of everything due to their curiosity. We alo have the curiosity but we don't take efforts to find the answer. Thank you for the response.

Hello, Me also, for sometimes I think we could be more thankful with them for without them we will not enjoy our life these days. One best example is the computer. We are enjoying mylot these days because inventors had a great idea why did they discover computers and the different technologies nowadays that take important role in our everyday living. We should be thankful and felt lucky that they were born before us.

You are definitely correct there my friend, yet that was made by his being a constant thinker about so many things.Even you are thinking why are these things happening, yet you were just afraid to know the real reasons why it was there. You have your own thinking abilities, yet the abilities of the brains of being a gifted person is really very very different to most of us normal persons. They keep on asking so many inquiries, that is why they are making some numerous experiments just to make their curiosity becomes a reality or a failure.

Hi, Sometimes we also have curiosity. But we just think and leave it but scientists try to make some creative and useful things out of their curiosity. Thank you for the response.

I think we are all capable to make great discoveries...the problem is we are scare to make it public because people would think we are crazy out of our mind! people like Newton are not scare of that their research and theories may take years to be proved right and yet they went public with it...I think people like that have a lot of courage. I don't agree with Darwin theory of evolution...but then who Am I to say is not right?

Thanks for the discussion. Well u are absolutely correct that scientists are intelligent and different from the normal people but at the end of the day they are also human beings and also have a heart and feelings like us. Yes they are of course intelligent and that what makes them completely indifferent from all of us and that is why they are scientists who work day and night to give us new inventions and discoveries. What say?

Yes ros you told right that only Newton wanted to know the reason of why an apple fell down or only James Wat wanted to find how to use a vapor pressure. I think scientists can think the tolality of a group of actions or its mechanism. May be they are born kinda scientific or concious enough to look back and forth of a thing. They cling to a topic until its resolve and they incredibly deeply keep researching the problem. They kinda super human who never leaves a problem unsolved. They try to keep concentrating and penetrating a problem forgetting the world.

Hi, You are right. They try to keep concentrating and penetrating a problem forgetting the world. While working and finding solutions they forget their hunger and thirst. They just continue working. We don't have that much patience and concentration. So we are common people and they are scientists. Thank you for the response.

I think we all have the same potential to make a great discovery, the curiousity is what we need to make any discoveries. Like what Newton said ""I do not know what I may appear to the world; but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me." One word that made some great scientist can make the great discoveries at that time aside from their intellegent brain, that is the curiousity. Even Thomas Alfa Edison failed thousands times before he made one great discoveries.
