Do you shop on Amazon?

Philippines

I rarely shop online. When something I need isn't available in my country, I do check it on Amazon or on eBay, but most of the items I want don't ship to Philippines. Anyway, since Christmas is just around the corner, I'm starting to write gift guide articles or other Christmas-related articles on my site on Squidoo. Lately, I have published a few sales articles and had sold 1 item.:) I want to write about products that people love to buy on Amazon. Since I don't have much experience with online shopping, I need to ask you guys for your opinion. Do you have any suggestions what products I can write about? What are the products that you usually look for on Amazon? I only add products from Amazon since I don't have an affiliate ID on eBay. Thanks in advance!

I think in the future, when people are less wary about buying things online, sites like Lazada will become more rampant.

I enjoy shopping online. but i never shop to Amazon or eBay cos most of thigs sold on those sites are expensive things. they use dollar and my currency is rupiah. $1 equals to almost Rp 10.000..!! it is so much for me. and shipping is excluded. the price could be double if i buy something on Amazon or eBay. that's why I never shop on them. but it doesnt mean that i never shop online. there are many online shops on Facebook. in my place, most of Facebook acvounts are used to sell something. some of them use their a account as merely a shop but some of them are two faces shops, they are first common account used for social networks function and after some times, the owner decides to sell something via their account. why i like shopping on them cos the price is cheaper than stores near my residence. and the items have wider varieties. i search the latest fashion for clothes bags or shoes on Facebook. abd about your question, I think you should sell fashion products cos they are never ending needs for people.

Hi, Amazon seems to be only for US accounts only. I shop there but don't order anything. Price comparison mostly. If I have to get something, its eBay for some suppliers offer international shipping even at cost. At least, I get what I want. Most of the time, though, I would go downtown and go to the malls to find the items I want. I only go online if I can't get a good deal on the items I want.

Hi. Yes, I shopped on Amazon and I bought an ebook. But the purchase was a little weird because I can't write a review after purchasing. :)

Amazon.com is US. Although they can ship to Canada, but the shipping is very costly. I only buy rare items from outside vendors that sell items through Amazon US. Shipping is already fixed. So far my experience with outside vendors are great. They are selling their product through Amazon, payment through Amazon, but shipping direct from the vendors. Since they are responsible with Amazon, their quality of service is trusted. I mostly buy items from Amazon Canada. Although the produt is not as many as Amazon USA, but they are pretty good. I buy books, CD, DVDs. Price is very competitive. Shipping is very fast! I like shopping at Amazon. One more thing about Amazon: I like the consumer review part. It is very helpful when deciding which products to buy.

I like shopping online and of course it is including Amazon. I often buy books from Amazon in my country because there are many choices and the delivery can be free of charge. Sometimes I also buy other products from Amazon as long as its price is nice. In fact I even buy products from Amazon in USA because I found it provides the cheapest price around all the Amazon stores all over the world. I just let the shipping company to arrange the delivery. The price is still less expensive including the delivery than I buy it directly in my country. Perhaps there are also such kind of shipping companies to delivery products from USA to Philippines.

I was indoctrinated by Peter Pan's philosophy ("not growing up"---not taking future-responsibility for things you want to buy NOW), which doesn't mesh well with the credit-industry (in which you have to be 'responsible' and keep track of the costs of everything you buy, as you cannot simply 'not buy if you don't have enough right now to trade'). So I'm not 'responsible enough' to buy things online. But I DO 'sell things' online (i.e. I direct fellow `Netizens to opportunities to 'be responsible for new things' online ). I am also an affiliate on Amazon (books mostly, & a few DVDs ... you can find my "astore" Xomba-20 if you 'Search the Web' for it). My suggestion of what to sell: items that you use (you can search there and see if Amazon sells `em too) and -that you can write your own review of (a little story of why you got the item and why you recommend it).

cheerfulnuts I purchased exercise videos from Amazon. They were the older VCR tapes as I still keep a TV with a VCR player. I bought 3 Richard Simmons Dancing to the Oldies tapes.. Once in a while when I want a different variety in exercising I use them..

I love to shop online, but I avoid to shop on international sites such as Amazon and eBay. The reason is obvious: they charge an insanely big shipping fees . I ever bought something from eBay for $12, and the shipping fees was $6. It was already half of the goods' price . And also, it takes a few weeks until the package finally arrived. I prefer to shop on local online stores. Their stuffs are relatively cheaper, fast shipping, and great quality too .

If I knew that, I'd probably write about it myself. However, I just learned that you can use Squidoo's eBay modules and it works like using their Amazon modules. You don't need you own ID, but you share what you make with Squidoo. I'm afraid that's all I know.

LOL, your comment made me laugh! Oh, you're right. We don't need to use our ID in both modules. I haven't thought about that. Months ago, I've read something about eBay (why I can't earn with it). I can't recall what I've read and can't find it. Or maybe I've read it on HubPages. I really can't remember. I guess I'll try using eBay on Squidoo and see what happens.:)

I haven`t been able to shop online anything that I want. I have tried several posibilities and it hasn`t worked yet for my country (Chile). I haven`t lost hope of buying a pair of jeans that I desperatly need and want. It seems that they will ship it from ebay, buy up no now I have only seen worn jeans and I want new ones. It did work fine though with hats and scarves I bought when I was in chemo. I checked at the American Cancer Society and they have an awesome site with all sort of clothes to help us feel better. There were even wigs at fair prices. They had shipping all around the world and they sold everything without profits.
