I noticed this evening that I have a red spot on white of my right eye, although it's not painful or can not impaired my vision, it quite alarming. Maybe on Tuesday I am going to the hospital to seek for medical attention regarding to this matters and hoping it just a blood clot that can fade in few days and nothing to be worried about. Have a great day!

Hello Bhebelen14, Have you recently touched your eye? and do you have long nails? Don't worry about you. It's likely you scratched your eye without even knowing it and it's just blood. If it's not painful and doesn't affect your eye sight you're OK. It will go away in 24 hours.

Bhebe, how is your eye condition now? Have you went to the nearest eye doctor for a check-up? Maybe, it is a red blood cell burst due to too much stressing your eyes for a long period. Try to relax and close your eyes more frequently. Put some sterile eye drops to it, to cool it down. As long you don't feel any pain or your eye sight got problem, i am sure it is not harmful. Before when i was very stressed with my ex-job, sometimes i do discovered that my eyes turned really red. When i visit my eye doctor, he said nothing serious if i don't feel pain or eye sight problem. Hope to hear more from you...

It's not a blood and you also do not need to seek a doctor. It's just a blood vessel that popped. It's like any other bruise that you get. It'll health on its own and it's nothing to worry about.

The same thing happened to me about five months ago. I went to a doctor then and he told me I had a 'bloodshot eye'. Here's the discussion on that topic in case you are interested: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2668153.aspx

Sishy, your former discussion reminded me of my eyes problem a few years ago. At that time, both of my eyes turned really red with blood stick all around both of my eyes. I had to take immediate leave for a few days because no one dare to look at me. They so scare that i would turn blind. But miracles works and my eyes returned to normal within 3 weeks time.

That's the thing about 'bloodshot eye', it looks alarming for others to look at. And for the ones who have it, they'd feel almost nothing unusual. My doctor did not even recommend to put any eye drops or any other type of medication. He just printed out some information about it and gave it to me so I'd be informed what it was all about. He said it could just happen out of the blue; it happened to you on both eyes at the same time, you would not need a mask for Halloween if it were to happen today... You'll be scary enough...

If it doesn't hurt probably wait for a few days and see if it doesn't go away. It may be what others have responded already and there might not be cause for alarm. But having it checked by the doctor won't hurt too especially if you've got extra money or better if you have a health card and won't have to pay for it. For months now I've noticed that on certain background or color, a portion of my sight from my left eye gets blurred and I see a small dark shape, but when I look at my eye, I don't see anything unusual. It doesn't hurt and honestly I don't know how long it's been like that. I may not have just noticed it before. I am planning to see a doctor about it but I decided to put it off. I know that's not the best decision but I've just been to the hospital aot of times already this year that I hate the thought of having another 'sickness' being treated. But I will go there. Soon.

I also think that this is probably a blood vessel, maybe you have accidentaly hurt your eye and you didn't notice it immediately. Sometimes this happens to me when I haven't slept for many hours, but yours is more concentrated to one spot. You can go to a doctor and check it, just to be safe but maybe it will disspear if you wait for a couple of days. I also visit the doctor immediately if I feel that something is wrong with my eyes! I hope it will just go away soon!

I think you should use more time to sleep. your red spot in your eye may cause by less sleep. Though working and learning are important to you, but health is the most important thing to you. If you have enough sleep, your red spot in your eye will fade in these days. You don't need to worry about it. Remember that, heath is the most important.
