we all play different roles in life. a husband at home, an employee at the workplace, a friend at the local beer parlour, an enemy at another company and a volunteer at a festival. just for one individual. i wonder how many persons have noticed. when one is young, you find it difficult getting used to switch roles easily but with time, it becomes easy.

playing a role implies being an actor. Being an actor implies there are spectators. Who are the spectators? I have never felt like playing a role. I have never felt like being an actor and I don't like being watched by anyone if I don't know what his or her or their intentions are. Therefore, as I am not an actor, I demand that everyone who ''watches'' me has to reveal himself and let me know why he's interested in me. Then we can talk and then there's no need for an actor or a spectator. Then we can just be a couple, be friends or I can just be myself. No need to impress anyone or to be anyone's puppet. No secrets And if we take responsibility of something or s.o. that shouldn't be just a show but it should come from within, it should be honest. Real actors (movies) are okay because it's clear that it's fiction and the spectator simply wants to enjoy the show

I already learned at a very young age to switch roles to stay alive, also at a very young age I decided not to do so anymore and to be me. Since loosing me was the worst thing that could ever happen to me. There are no roles I play anymore, although it is possible people can see me as the "enemy" or "friend" or whatever. Important to me is how I see me, since it's me I am living with. I always disliked it to be the "best friend", "housewife", "the wife", "the mother". So I always told people that I am who I am, to call me by my name and see me like that person I am. The complete picture.

When we are younger, we do not easily switch to another role in our life because maybe of being immature or just not wanting to have a lot of responsibilities. But when one gets older, we view things differently and we start to take each responsibility the best as we can.
