Good eve everyone. I have raffle tickets again. It was sold to me by my aunt,I tried to refused since I not so lucky with raffles ever since.Even during Christmas party I have no luck. Those tickets was for the the school of her daughter, sort of soliciting program to get fund for a certain school program that will benefit other people. I bought four tickets,I hope I could have a chance to win this time even a consolation prize. Are you lucky in raffles? How much did you win or what did you win during the raffle?

I've never expected to win anything when it comes to raffle tickets. So it was so pleasant when I learned that I have won something. There were three occasions that I remember I won something; I won a blender, a store gift certificate, and a stereo set.

Wow, aty least you have something to bring home with, right? It's a lucky thing to have won specially if the raffle was from abig event or so. If it was a small party or gathering, chances are it is easier to win. Depends on your luck as well. :)

I won each the blender and gift certificate from an office Christmas party attended by about 100 employees. My co-workers start to get a little bit 'suspicious' when I always won something two years in a row... The stereo set was from a bigger event when there were thousands of tickets sold. I really did not expect that; in fact, I kind of already forgot I bought tickets when the organizer called me several weeks later that I have won something...

Hi ardoy! The biggest gift I received so far was a rice cooker, from a raffle draw done during our Christmas party. I was so happy because it was the most expensive price I ever won. Sometimes I got coffee mug, ball pens or other smaller items. Well, what is important for me was that my name was called during the event. Good luck! Hopefully, you got the first price this time.

Hello aries! :) You're lucky enough to have won the rice cooker! COngrats on that! Is it a big event that's why they have expensive prize? If it's a big event, it sure does have bigger prizes, and you are very lucky to be called a winner.

Yeah, a rice cooker is quite a major prize as well. Aplliances can be major prize, specially if it's branded and have high quality. You are lucky to have won such coin purse with one hundred on it. If it's a small event like 50-100 persons, most probably, those prizes are not that big but it sure is fun being one of those participants, right?

I never have been lucky with raffle tickets either. I would buy them from friends who were rasing money for their club, church or kids school. I always hoped I would win something! A few times I bought some raffle tickets, hoping I would win some money! That didn't happen! I think the next time I have a chance to enter a raffle I am going to pass.

Maybe our time is not yet coming. Raffle tickets the got and bought was also from fund raising programs. Usually my relatives or neighbors are the one who's selling me those tickets. I can't reject since they're my relatives and sort of help for their fund raising.

When it comes to raffle tickets, I've never had any kind of luck when I've purchased raffle tickets. However, when I know someone that is selling raffle tickets for a good cause, I will always buy one because of the fact that I know they are supporting the schools or youth sports or whatever other good cause is raising money. This all said, I have to admit that I much prefer fundraisers where you are buying something because at least that way you have something to show for your money.

I used to buy raffle tickets for fund raising programs that are usually from school or barangay in our place. Buying tickets to them somehow is a way to help their projects and the their beneficiaries as well. Maybe I cant help them personally, at least I could help them through other people's way.

This is so funny because I'm just giving a false hope to myself whenever I avail a raffle tickets. That's why I don't join because I don't I don't have any chance at all. I envy those who are very lucky enough and those people who are blessed that they get to win. I hope someday I will win if ever I will join again. Good luck to you my friend.

I'm not losing any hope. As long as there is life, there's hope. Am I right my friend? That's how positive I am! I don't let the negative ruin my life. When it comes to expectations, I don't want to live by it because it is sad to expect things you know that will never happen.

Hmmm, 25 cents is cheap, lucky for you cause most of the time we have here is 20 -50 pesos in the Phillippines when it comes to raffles. Well, what things have your son won, then?

haha, yeah ardoy, it's not your time to win for such events. Schools most of the time have raffle draws for school projects and improving it. Recently, my niece had this raffle coupons and the major prize is a stand fan. Well, we didn't come in the said event, still wondering who won! There are events like when it's time for raffle draws, the winner should be there, if not, there will be another chance for others. For sure, if you are there, you want to win. But if not, do you still want to win? Who doesn't, right? Even if it's just a fan, if it's your luck, you can.

I very seldom buy raffle tickets because I can't think of one time I have never won anything. They say you don't have a chance to win if you don't buy any but I know I'm very unlucky when it comes to raffles.

I am not that lucky too in terms of raffle draw although sometimes I won but the prize is not that so fabulous that is really worth. It was a food and just little amount of certificate.

It's really hard to win with those specially if there are too many tickets sold to many people... If it is just a small gathering with raffle tickets, I might be able to win...that'sa what happened to me back then at the office I have worked before. I wasn't that happy with the prize though, but still thankful for I know, and I feel it that I am the one who will be called for the prize, meaning, I have sensed it. Other time, I feel that I have won but since such incidents happen like I haven't paid for the party, I didn't get the prize. Though, I'm not really sure if I am the one who would've won the prize, i feel nervous that time. Anyways, if it's a big event and raffle promos, for sure, I won't win... I rarely get a chance to win such with that. Oh, my sister used to win prizes in their office (cause they all get a prize) the happy thing she had is that she gets one of the major prizes, those would have been electric fan or dvd player, and a tablet... Not a bad thing, right?

Oh that was really a good prizes already. She is quite luckier than us by winning those kind of prizes. As you have said, raffle tickets are sold into many since it is their way to raise money more so chances are quite small to win. Its gonna be pure luck to be able to win something.

I am not lucky with raffle as well. i can never remember a single event that I have won in such. Oh, I have once! And I won a Playstation 3 but that has never been repeated :(

Oh playstation 3 was a good catch and enjoyable as well. There are really eye catchy prizes during raffles that we wish to get and won like high appliances like tv set or ref that are really useful at home. I am always looking forward for those prizes during Christmas party at the office and always hoping that I could win even once.

Hi friend, good to know that you got some raffles from your aunt. Wish you to win a good prize from it. I am also in your sort, not a lucky person, as well as not interested in buying this kind of tickets. If some of my relatives or friends forced me to buy it, i will do for their sake

At least you won, I guess anything will do for me. Raffle draws are really pure luck and unpredictable so we always have chances but there are some people who are luckier than us.
