Hi Shavkat! This is the first time I heard that a magazine can be used to make rosary beads. This is awesome! Maybe you can also share how to do it. This can be a perfect give, promise. Have a nice day!

I think that is a great idea! The most wonderful presents to give your loved ones are those that you have made out of your own efforts. A personalized gift is perfect!

That sounds like a great idea! I'm not much of a craft person and I wish I could be. My daughter likes to create things and I encourage her when she sees something she would like to do. Christmas is a time for giving so giving a gift that you made from your heart will last longer than the latest techo gift. Hope you send some pics if you do decide to make rosary. I'd love to see it.

Hiya shavkat, Seems like a very good idea too. I am not a crafts person at all all fingers and thumbs. If you can get to do them maybe you can put a photo of them we can see how and what they look like all finished. Right now I cannot think of any ideas of that kind for Christmas as I am deep in thought about something else. See if you can make them or at least try.xxx

I will be making homemade gifts for my parents, my grandparents, my sister, my aunt and my cousins. I am making earrings and will be selling them online later on this month. I love your idea of making rosary for your loved ones. I think that making homemade gifts are special and will be cherished for years to come.

I save for months for my xmas list of gifts. I shop at several stores here to get the best price on an item. I even have my sister help buy somethings in the usa if they can get them cheaper than I can. I started my xmas shopping last month here. Have a great sunday there.

I like to make rosaries out of rose petal beads. The beads take a week or so to make, but they are beautiful and smell nice for a long time. Rose petal beads can also sell really well, because not too many people make them. Technically, you can you any type of flowers if you can't get roses. There are recipes and directions online for making rose petal beads, and online, rosaries made with them sell for a lot of money. I also like to make my boys slippers from scrap yarn or felt, and I make sachets for friends out of scrap material.

That is an interesting idea. Are you a member of Pinterest? It can be a great source of inspiration for craft ideas. Plus, you should share a photo of your completed project to inspire others.

I stopped giving Christmas gifts a long time ago. When I ask the adults what they want they say nothing. The children want everything an appreciated nothing. So I give the adults what they want and the children what they appreciate. Christmas has been much nicer.

I really like your idea of making rosaries for your loved ones for Christmas. I know that these rosaries would be gifts that would be treasured for years to come, for me, I treasure each and every one of the rosaries that I've ever been given. As far as my idea for budget friendly Christmas gifts this year, I'm going to make something (not quite sure what yet) for my mother. For my mother-in-law I'm making another calendar for her which I will be able to get printed and sent to me for just the cost of the shipping. I made one for her last year featuring pictures of the children throughout the year and she absolutely loved it.

Hi Shavkat: In my case I think about buying a new wallet to my father but I think it's better to plan with my family before making the Christmast shops what we need and make a gift list so every person in the house will have something to share and receive on Christmas Eve. ALVARO

Since you're into arts and crafts, you could try doing Christmas cards out of recycled paper or paper mache. You can personalize it as well. It's cheap and whoever can receive it will definitely appreciate it.
