I thought the world was suppose to end today,lol. Well, I guess I'm lucky compared to some other people. I mean I didn't bounce my bank account thinking I was going to die anyway. I also didn't throw a bunch of money away to move into an underground bunker. Its all a bunch of mass hysteria. People were doing the same thing in the year 1000 and of course 2000. I watched a documentary on this end of the world prediction about the Mayan calender and how they accurately predicted everything. They supposedly used past events to predict future events. I was a teenager when I watched it and at the time it sounded creepy and more convincing. I later learned more about the topic and how such claims were disputed. It didn't seem so spooky after all. I really didn't expect anything to happen. The world could end at anytime. There's so many asteroids out there not being monitored by scientists that one could impact us and we would have no warning about it.

in my country it was supposed to end yesterday, today it is December 22 here. our world could have ended first before yours did. and i find it stupid since we are just living in the same planet.

I just figured if the world ended, we would all end with it. BUT just in case that didn't happen I carried on as usual. Like you say the end can come at anytime, but until it does we must still pay the bills, feed the kids, and Hubby.
And in our case take care of the animals.

haha. I agree with you and yes it was a mass hysteria... and all these companies have indeed taken advantaged of the people's fear and has even used this so called end of the world to their advantage. The real end of the world will come, but i believe it is not yet to this day. =)
I was never bothered about this day, i look forward to this day as excited to see to prove the people wrong... i am weirded out by people who would even go about as to building a bunker and so on.. perhaps if they have an extra money then that should be their decision... If the world is set to end, i think no bunker would be safe, if it survives, and the world is melted... oh i would not want to be stuck in it anyway. ;)

actually the prediction came to pass and nothing happened. of course its obvious now that i'm typing this on December 23, but the prediction said the world would end at 11:11:11(UTC)so it was actually past this time when i started the discussion.

I read about it a lot and how some people flocking to the Bugarach city in France
which is believed to be the safest place on earth on 21.12.12 Everywhere people
are talking about it and now that day has passed and lives goes on.
However I managed to watch "2012" and "The Day After Tomorrow" on 21sst December 2012. The TGV Cinema has a countdown party for it. We were given each a t-shirt
with the word "End of the Word Survivor ... I survived 21.12.12" at 12 midnight!
It is really fun, we were showered with Coke, pop corns, ice cream and food. It was
a memorable event.
There are predictions that the signs of end of the world can be seen in year 2036,
perhaps 24 years from now. Nobody knows, except GOD.
Right now, I would like to wish every one " A Blessed Christmas Day".

At first, I didn't know all about December 21st about the end of the world. I learn the end of the world December 21st from our Church. The priest told us just to be ready at the month of December. Still, nothing happen. I always hear end of the world since I was still a child, but still, nothing happen.

I never believed that the world was coming to an end yet. The Scriptures of every religion might have given symptoms seen before the world ends. People should have referred to them before believing Mayan calendar.

When the world ends it ends. I didn't believe it was going to happen to day simply because some people say it will and I wouldn't be that worried if it really was. I'll just go about my life as usual.

People are crazy! I wonder how many are feeling stupid now! The people who are now broke because they thought the world would end. Those are the people who prepared for it and now are stuck with bunkers they aren't going to use! These are the crazy people will have to start over because they thought the world was going to end on the 20th! It is kind of laughable on how people get so wrapped up in stuff like this! God knosw when the earth will end! Until then nobody can predict the world will end even if they think it will! We live in a crazy world!

i'm one of calm people related with the gossip of doomsday. i didnt believe it at all from the beginning that doomsday will be hapenned this year. why? because i have religion. i have faith. my religion teaches me about doomsday that doomsday must come one day but only God knows the time. it is also written in our Holy Book. it is written that doomsday will come someday and God gives clues if doomsday will come soon. the clues are revealing recent days but they include to small clues. there will be great clues someday, and if they have revealed it means that doomsday will come soon. but those great clues havent revealed yet that is why i do believe that doomsday wont come soon. and the followers of my religion, i'm sure, do not take seriously about this gossip cos they believe in what God said in our Holy Book.
PS. human is great but still God is the greatest. human has plenty knowledge about everything but it is nothing compared with God's knowledge. God is Almighty so dont believe too much to what human said or predicted. human is human, they are not God. doomsday is God's right to decide when it will happen and no human knows about the time..

I am alive too. Well i never took it seriously. This was just a prediction. I did no preparations for this because if its the end of the world why do you need to prepare for it. I mean what ever you prepare you cannot survive .
