I gave the pharmacy driver 20.00 in a card for Christmas, I never seem to have the money to tip him and he is always so friendly. He had already walked away from the door when he opened it but I could him him squeal. Guess nobody ever tipped him that much before. How to you feel about tipping drivers.

Well, if the driver is really a good one, i won't hesitate to tip him. But if he seems grumpy, i will ask my change from him, immediately.

of course he is nice, what do you mean by change, I don't pay him. I get my meds from him, there is no money being passed through our hands.

Oh is that so? Well in that case it's good that you give him the cards.

And that is what we should want to produce in others. Too bad people think of it only this time of year if at all.

I always love hearing someone squeal when something nice happens. I'm going to deliver some Christmas gifts tomorrow, and I know the recipients are all going to squeal together! I have never had prescriptions delivered, but tipping drivers would be a good idea. I always tip the pizza drivers, and of course cab drivers when I go anywhere.

yep we tip any drivers here, they don't make a whole lot of money. Good to hear you have people who are going to squeal too.

maybe mor awareness neds to be raised on this. I feel bad now. It hinestly nevereven occurred to tip the nice man that brought my mom her meds in herlast days. We didnt have much mony but we would have tried to tip him when we could. For us and I imagine a lot of people, they have so much on their minds caring for their parents that it doesnt even occur to them. Thr delivery guy was like hospice and the minster who showed up very regularly. because no money gets exchanged we didnt even think of it

well it is the culture in Montreal, but hey it is not too late, you don't have to tip much it is not like a waitress and you have to give 20 percent. A dollar or two is good enough and when you don't have like me, just try to save up a little bit for Christmas, they really appreciate that.

I think it's great if you can find a way to do it. I'm sure the driver appreciated that too.

Wow that is great! Sadly not alot of people tip. I myself don't tip, since I rarely have money or I end up forgetting to even.

It sounds like you really made his day! I don't deal with many drivers here, mostly just the pizza delivery. I think tipping drivers like that is really nice. I like to tip people that normally don't get anything extra. I still go to a gas station that pumps gas for you, when the weather is bad. I usually give them a tip around the holidays.

That's so sweet! Honestly, I've never had an occasion to trip a driver. Our pharmacies don't deliver. Oh wait! I have had a pizza delivery man. But that's like once in a while. And I never take cabs, so drivers really aren't around in my life.

That was very nice of you. No, drivers really don't make all that much, and the tips can really make a difference. I always tip delivery drivers, waiters and waitresses and other people as is appropriate.

I give tips to deserving service crew/drivers etc. These seasons a lot of people are trying to give good service hoping for some tips. But, I do not always give a tip to everyone- I only choose to give tips to those whom I know provided me a good service from the start. Just like the other day, I gave a small tip to our courier who always delivered our packages on time

I think it is great if you can afford it. Alot of people work hard at what they do and deserve a little extra. I know I have worked hard all my life and when someone just said thank you that was very nice. Some do not even do that. That was a very nice thing you did thinking of others.

Well that was a great gesture on your part..I don;t know if that the first time he received a $20.00..I would guess probably not...But I am sure he appreciated the gift.. I think people who gas jobs like that really appreciate when they receive a tip...But if this is the driver you depend on to deliver your meds from the pharmacy, he really deserves it especially when you don't tip him on other deliveries on a regular. But then I don't know how often you get a delivery... Have a great holiday.....

he comes every Friday and he deserved it so I put money aside for him. In the old house I only got my meds delivered once a month and I gave that driver a 2.00 tip every time he came.
