Good morning mylot. It has come to my attention that in every show, movie and even in reality the criminals that have emerged are usually one of the smartest people alive. They excel at their studies and I believe most of them are just unsatisfied that they do well in schools and might not get a good enough pay for all their effort; so they go after big fortunes. They create the most thought through perfect crime to get their riches perfectly. Guess what? Criminals aren't the only one who benefit when tears start to flow, because now the banks and the business holders know that their systems had a fault and that it hadn't been impenetrable. I have seen so many cases when these criminals go to jail, they usually get the 'deal'. Some people aren't aware what the deal is so let me tell you: "We will let you out of jail if you work for us." So many government institutions and police forces are doing the same thing, because they want the best to catch future criminals. SO they use criminals to counter criminals, and it is pretty smart. Really smart as a matter of fact. With education, emerges the good and the bad people. There is always a mixture. But these geniuses amaze me to such great extent at time. Some criminals just like to test the system and see how faulty or powerful it. Just to test their skills. (I will not be able to reply immediately because I am going on the road mylot, but have fun please)

Good morning also Renhard! I never believe in that, that is for the fact that I have numerous classmates before who always excel in every examination and projects given by all our professors, yet they are not very successful in their endeavor as to the effectiveness of their being first honor or second honors, because it is just for our school they excel. They may have all their luxuries and benefits because of being an honor students before, yet their living standards are much more left behind by these not so genius classmates. They have a burgeoning business establishments, that brings out more income to their families. They enjoy their lifestyle by just shopping abroad and money free, that can spend that surpass to the heavens. They only order by the checks and cash only, not like their former classmates who spend their holidays with a credit card. Now,who do you think are the starring of the moment. It is not the honor student, but the students who crave to become good, yet they have a brain not so gifted, yet they have a mind full of gold.

You are just seeing the other side of the coin, that you are very pessimistic.Try to become optimistic, because not all the times are their luck. You should be wise enough to think positive about the outcome of your life.Do not blame yourself a son of a poor person, that your curricular activities are also affected to what you like in life.If you are a positive thinker, your luck would be more easy to cling on your path and that you could become successful.

I am not a pessimist neither am I an optimist. I deal with reality, and that is why I stick to my path to become successful. I have seen how optimist and pessimist sometimes behave: Optimist: I did poor on a exam but hopefully i get an "A" Pessimist: I create a business but I know no one will buy from me so why continue it. But this is me: I did poor on a exam, then more than likely I get a "C", I create a business, what are the possibilities of someone not buying from me, why wont they buy? How can I fix that problem? What are the possibilities that they will buy? Why will they buy, how can I encourage more to buy? What are the benefits? This has always been me to be honest. I think about everything BOTH NEGATIVE AND POSITIVE. And the only persons that usually see me as a realist are my teachers and close family members. This might explain me a little bit more: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2739477.aspx But I am not looking at the other side of the coin really. It is reality. I have a friend who has loan money to take her through school and even though she was brilliant, the school that she could afford had a mediocre reputation. Now finished college and looking for a job and cant get none. She needs to start repay her loan with no way to do so. You know what she broke down and said to me. She feel like to go rob a grocery store. She felt broken down to the last breath. Then she looked at a few of class mates who only idled and party in school, their grades were always lower than hers. And money carried some of them into more reputable school, others got a job without even having to college. She started crying what was this all for. It is not being pessimistic, neither is it being optimistic. It is being realistic. It is possible and actually more plausible. Think about it? I look forward to your response.

I cant say i have the perfect reply to this, but think about this. Students that flourish through school, with the best grades and then at the end of school can't get a job for what ever reason. Then think about those born rich or from a rich family, who inherited a business, or because of connection get a high paying job. You can see how desperate a genius might become to be seen. Some of these criminals you know don't even want the cash. SOme just wants to be known. They do some criminal activity then purposefully leave behind a signature to show that they were the brains behind this operation. And they continue do it until they are famous with a unknown face and a given name.

I have always thought that if criminals like that turned their talents to legitimate business they would be billionaires, not criminals imprisoned. On the other hand, why don't governments and businesses have people on staff or at least making tests every year to see how secure their systems are? It's folly not to. Their stupidity and lack of foresight is what makes it possible to them to be victims of crime.

I think it is the mind set of the criminals why they don't do such things. Some times it is the feeling they get to know they have the ability to fool the entire system, or sometimes it is the get rich quick schemes they are focused on. And you are right, sometimes they are too caught up to realize that if they went to legal way, they might earn more than what they are illegally doing. Actually most companies test their systems, but the more everything in the word turns into binary (zeros and ones) the more our whole life get jeopardize. After all those testing their systems get impenetrable to mediocre criminals, but for the geniuses that really think deeply about each criminal job, they make study for years to pull off a single job. That is to show their dedication. There is one main difference between people who test software and criminals People who test software: They make usually less than $100 000 a year Criminals: They can make millions in just one job. So you you can see who is more dedicated to find a fault in the system.

That's not intelligent level at all. If that's what tickles you then cool. They're just moderately intelligent who get a kick out of doing dangerous feats. They do fit a certain profile though and good for them. Are they geniuses? No. A genius wouldn't violate the law to test their intelligence. If that is the type they belong to then they forfeit whatever intelligence they do possess. Maybe they get a high on doing the worst anti-society thing. That forfeits all the things you know. It makes you a fool.

Big business is not always run with ethics, virtur or character. In some cases it is as bad as serial killing or mass murder, just has a different name to it. Using criminals to catch criminals is a way that does work. Get the big ones with the little ones. It works.

It does work. I don't remember the name of this criminal but he was a forger. He forged the best looking money and he was smart about it. He would forge mostly OLD MONEY, money that is outdated BUT still have value. Those money with little security features. And he also forged recent money without any problem. But he always left his initial hidden on all his master pieces. He was smart. He was caught not because he didn't have the skills to get away, he was caught because his wife left him and he just couldn't bother any more. He felt sorrow. One month after being in prison detectives took him out and say they will limit his life by having him on something similar to house arrest but he would have to work for them. By 4 years time of working, he is off house arrest and a free man, but he still decides to work with them because he is legally getting paid for his particular set of skills. He has stopped so many more forgeries.

I have to say that I completely agree with you that criminals are often some of the most intelligent people that there are. I tend to believe that the reason that these individuals turn to crime is because of the fact that they don't really find enough challenge in a law-abiding life. You see, in crime there are plenty of challenges that people might not be able to find otherwise in their lives. I know that the people that I've known that make a habit of breaking the law are very smart people and they always know the ways to get around the law.

It takes a lot of meticulous planning and thinking to get around the law successfully, and as time progresses, it gets even harder. You have one of the perfect reasons why I think they are one of the smartest people alive. That is why police are after some of them, not to put them behind bars but to use their particular set up skills to make security systems even more impenetrable.
