User Rating and MyLot Reputation are explained here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx Your reputation is determined by how much and how often other users rate your discussions, responses and comments. You can increase it by making sure that you always give the best quality of which you are capable. That means being as descriptive, relevant and valuable to others as possible when participating in discussions. MyLot nowhere say that your reputation (by itself) affects your earnings. What they do say is that the Discussion Rating System is 'factored in' to the Earnings Algorithm. That means that how others rate your contributions does affect your earnings and also your 'star' rating. It does NOT necessarily mean that the 'star' rating you have now will affect your earnings in the future. A fire may produce smoke and heat but it is not the smoke which makes the kettle boil!

i don't know anything about reputation and star. I just had it, and it increased and increased and it stopped increasing. after some time. it did not increase anymore.

Hi, This is the ranking system of MyLot. Basically, the more "+" and "Best Response" you get, the higher your ranking will be. How it affects earnings? Well, the higher your rank, the more money you earn. You earn faster because MyLot will pay more if you are high ranking.
