Are you worried with so many people catching the Flu? / myLot

I was watching the news a few days ago, and it featured that our airports are on the lookout for those who come in with possible flu symptoms. I wonder how many here has had the flu or knows someone who has the flu? There is little chance of me catching the flu since I rarely go out. What about you guys?

it is a very bad weather nowadays and like a huge percentage of people here in the office is with flu, or with colds so that is why i think i am also with a flu now. =( Appreciate having you here with me in the discussion. Thanks for your response Chiyosan. Load up on a lot of fruits and fluids and try to get as much rest as you can so that you can fight those flu symptoms. Take care!

I am very worried too to catch the flu since I always go out with my husband everyday, good thing I have a flu shot and taking lots of vitamins and fluids. I am just that our immune system strong enough to fight this flu.

Good for you if you already have the flu shot. I can't due to my allergy to eggs, so my doctor ruled it out. Take care and thanks for your response.

Yeah i know recently there are many news reporting that.So just take good care of yourself and drink water,most importantly is to avoid so many people cuz of the virus.But we will be fine.

I am worried. I read in the news that the government is getting ready with plenty of flu shots this year as they expect the flu outbreak across the States could come in here. Even our actor Hugh Jackman got sick while he was in NY recently...

I myself is afraid to catch the flu because I don't wanna get sick since I am on my first trimester. My sister and my nephew have a flu right now and I stayed away from them.

There's nothing to worry just watch your health and be healthy. Our body can withstand any foreign organism to enter our body if we are healthy enough sleep right kind of food and daily exercise. But that the same your Government shows concern to his people, nice.
