no status updates for me

I've decided I'm really not going to put any status updates on my page anymore. Why you ask? I have abt 150 +/- people on my friends list and I hardly get a "like" or comment of any sort. Since I'm so boring or whatever other than sharing pics with various messages on it... I'm thinking I"ll be nice and respond to others statuses as it appeals to me and that's about it next to chatting on FB.
Anyone else get flustered with this sort of thing? Some days I want to cancel my account.

Yep.. same here. Although I have fewer friends, I've already cut way back on what I post because a lot of it does seem to go unnoticed.
But don't you love though when you get together with someone and start to tell them something they say "Oh yeah, I saw that on Facebook".. well why didn't you comment or anything then? Geez!

I try to post to your stuff when I see it :)
I don't even get that, so you atleast know people read what you said even if they were too lazy to put the pointer for the mouse over the "like" button to atleast acknowledge things.

Honestly lately I just haven't had much to say, other than work stuff but I've got co-workers on my friend's list so I don't say anything about that.

I know that there are some people that could be considered to be the kind of people that are serial status updaters and there are other people that will only update their status occasionally. I am one of those people that is of the later group of people. I will update my status when something extraordinary is going on in my life, but I don't update on a daily basis.
For me, facebook is mostly about keeping in touch with friends and they don't need to know when I go to the bathroom, go to bed or wake up in the morning.

That drives me nuts too but at the same time people actually respond to those posts it what burns me. I could say anything from having a sick kid to this or that and still got nothing.
