How to live in an aging body

As a woman of advancing age, I am becoming an expert of at least one aging body. I can only handle day by day, if I stop to think of all the nightmares that can and do effect a body growing older it would scare me into an early grave. The best thing I can tell you is to take care of your diet and exercise. If the young would listen I would tell them limit your stress, eat healthy, get enough sleep and exercise. But for all the secret is to LAUGH. Laugh at everything, enjoy what you can, But when you stumble, forget what you were doing, can't remember who that person is, have one more pain for each day of the month, laugh at yourself, after all you have life, find beauty with your eyes and ears, even if they aren't as sharp as they once were and laugh. Remember smile lines are much more attractive than the frown ones.

Laughter is the best medicine indeed. It is therapeutic and is believed to have health benefits too. According to studies, laugther trigers healthy physical changes in the body. It strengthens the immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress. And the best thing about laughter is it's priceless, free and easy to use. Laughter is also a strong medicine for mind and body. So live life happily. Smile often and spread that infectious humor sound. It's best shared with people around us to bring more positive vibes. Live. Love. Laugh. Happy myLotting! :)

Having said that I am really trying to mylot today with having the flu and my right hand having carpal tunnel syndrome too.See what hearing we get quadruple earnings today just did to me. lol laugh that is the secret smile and have a sense of humor as most things are little and as the author of that book do not stress over little things. Most things are little in life and its just us that make them seem that big or important..

It is good to get such great words from older people always. It gives us youngsters and teenagers a thought to think up on. How we waste our lives complaining and grumbling on smaller things. How we dis respect our elders and eat bad food never rest properly and take so much stress on not so important things in our lives. I believe we all have just one life to live and it should be lived in such a way that tomorrow when you walk up on those stages where you have time to just sit, think and bring back those memories which will bring smile on your face and entertain you when there is no on around you to do that. Thanks for making me realize savypat, what i am missing in my life. Much love to you and really feeling so great to see you after so many days.

I love to laugh and smile but have the frown lines which I believe are inherited. You said it the best, eat good, exercise and laugh. I eat healthy and the things I love that are not good for you I have control over. I try to walk the most I can each day. I wear a pedometor to see how many steps I take in one day. When I reach anywhere between 6000 to 10,000 I'm very happy. I try to tell my girls all of this because they are in their thirty's and I want a better life for them they their grandma who is seventy-seven and can walk but very slowly and has already had triple bypass about seven years ago. I'm so thankful that I have always been very active in my life not sitting down for two long a period of time.

I think every age has it's own attraction. I also think what you might call "aging" at this moment you might find look very young and great in 10 or 20 or 30 years. I think what one should do is take care of the body (lift it with good clothes, pay attention to your skin, take good care of your inside, less poison, green tea) and forget about the (laugh) wrinkels, it all has it's charm and if you believe it or not, the complete picture of you (in- and outside the way dress, smile, etc is what people will see and remember).
