My son is five years old and disabled. He got some wonderful new things on his wheelchair: a new back, wheel covers to stop the mud and new foot places. Wow! I told him it is now a luxury wheelchair and this made him laugh. My son is likely to keep that lovely wheelchair for another year. Fantastic. Tell me about enjoying life with your children, nieces or nephews.

Thats good that he likes the new things for his wheelchair. Since my husband passed I had to quit my night time job and be home with them. I try to make things fun for them. I get them to make things with them and ride bikes. My oldest is 10 and she loves to paint. My youngest is almost 2 and she just likes to play with everything.

I think your almost two year old daughter that loves to play with everything sounds sweet. Making fun things for your kids gives them excellent fun. My 3 year old daughter loves going on bike rides. Your oldest daughter sounds lovely and artistic with her painting pictures.

My niece called me this afternoon, she asked me if I can able to attend to her graduation ceremony this coming March because she wants me to be there and receive her awards with me. She is a very bright and active student at school and very loving daughter at home. I am very proud of her because even though she's busy taking care of her sibling still she can find a way to study hard.

Isn't it wonderful that he shows so much pride in his wheelchair, your son sounds far more advanced for his age, and you wouldn't think he's only five bless him.

I enjoyed a chaotic 3 days with my 2 kids and 2 nieces when my sister had an appendectomy... the ages are 1, 2, 6, and 9... imaging two toddlers in one house... all those running around, crying, fighting, laughing... and i enjoyed every minute of it... and for sure my two nieces did too... the youngest started calling me mommy... My kids and i visit them in their apartment whenever we have the time... and how i wish they live just a few blocks from our house... so that the kids can play together everyday...

So his wheelchair is not only luxury but also pimped up :-D Great all these extra's they have now a days! My children did spend the biggest part of the day alone today. I had my scouting day. We were outside in the freezing cold and snow... following a trace. Had 2 stops (at a grannies home of one of the kids, they saw a short film about the Snowman plus she made some popcorn) after that we followed the trace (orange flags because of Carnaval) and had a stop at an other's mom her home, she made bread with sausages). After that we had to hurry back since the children were picked up already. They had a great time. Two weeks holiday now for me and my children. More time for eachother. We go to Hungary and I will see if I can find a school for them over there.

This morning I drove my nephew to his ball game at the campus gymnasium. His mom, my sis in law needs to work from morning until noon so she can't go. I had fun because this is the first time I watched his game. I even took some pictures and I think I got some really good shots of him.
