Customer service is a big part of any business...........

Customer service can make or break a company. If its an online business or not. I love my lot very much, its my fav. site. But its customer service here stinks. I think something needs to be done here. Maybe mylot is to big, and the staff needs help. Im sure many long time members would make great mods here. Many things are happening here, that needs more attention. How do you guys feel?

i think they would not do that and perhaps let we think like this way... from the first as a noob usually we do create a discussion and comes like we asking every body here for how it works blah blah blah, instead read the mylot rules and faqs and we admit that at lot of people here are like that, right? but as we response and looks like will helping the admin for telling the newbie how it goes... in replace of a couple of cents and we still enjoy it...

maybe but i think we can do it by responding some newbie discussion that usually ask how to earn on this site but if you are like bug etc. yeah maybe they need help

You are right, it makes or breaks it. Word of mouth is a big part as well. If someone has a bad experience then it will get around as well.

I don't agree with that, but it's a way to keep and get business to be honest. But some people abuse that rule (custoemrs do and you end up loosing).

I have been here 7 years I think... a long time to still be a member of one website. I can honestly say I have never had any problems here. If I had an issue, Mylot always helped out. They have never been rude or dismissive or anything like that.

There are always going to be people who complain. who don't like changes, who want answers and responses RIGHT NOW. that's life. That doesn't mean something is wrong or not good. Peoples perception is just different. Just how I think it's fine and other's think it's not. You must always go by your own experinces and not allow others to difine them for you

Thats good to hear. But..... Ive read several posts over the last few months that say a different story. I think the staff just has to much to do here. And need some help.

I do feel the same. Well, I don't think mylot is that much of a great company with so many workers that they could hire customer service people... or if they would, that would mean a decrease in our allowances and earnings. But otherwise, I don't understand why some big companies don't care about their customer service department. Sometimes people there don't know anything and act rude when we just interrupted there 5th coffee break that day or their chatting with their spouses on the cellphone.

Do you mean kind of a go between mariaperalta? Someone that could listen to people and get some answers to the questions they might have? I agree customer service is a tricky business and they can either make or break a company depending on how it is run and how costly it is doroffee. For Mylot maybe a simple incentive program could benefit. We all are already on the pay roll, sort of.

I am not sure what all happen this morning but I am very disturbed that when I was givin the link to this other site it shows are real names and I remember when I signed up here it clearly stated that my real name would never be used in any way so why and or how could this of happen what happen to the right of privicy

I also think that customer service is a big part of any business. Some companies have a very good customer services that can attract us and while some companies does not have good customer services. I have talked to a lot of customer services of various things and felt that some of them requires a lot of improvement.

I can tell you ajithlat from experience that it is part of a business that is not easy. One challenge companies have is that is always evolving, changing as time goes on. I do see some departments falling down in how they perform in c.s. and companies do suffer because of it. Hope you do not mind me commenting so much mariaperalta, I like your company.

I think that a companie's policies and procedures belong to the company. If you read the terms of this particular company they can basically do what they want when they want and I agreed to them doing just that when I signed on here. We have no part in the administrative side of things and I think it's quite rude the way some people go about demanding this and that and running down the place...biting the hand that feeds them. My feeling is, if you don't like what is happening then rather than try to make a stink about it, leave.

That's what I'm saying...if someone doesn't like what has happened, if they feel so strongly that their privacy has been compromised then they should close their account. The thing is, the damage is done, can you name anyone and link them to their account here? I doubt anyone can. A bunch of user names linked to the real names of myLot account holders is going to be pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things...a veritable storm in a tea cup. I think people are overreacting and taking things too far. The deed is done, it's over with and no-one can go back and change anything. Why do people insist on continuing to stir the pot?

hi yues its does need some renovating here as we the customers ask for it and seldom get it. I think the lamb would be an excellent choice as he c res about us and he has the g uts to make reforms too and sees thing clearly too. I vote for him for a mod.

I disagree Hatley. I am much better at customer service and you should vote for me but I do agree as a moderator I do not think I fit that bill. It is a very tough job. I believe often that customer service is about providing information and dealing with peoples concerns? A moderator has a different job though, do you agree? I am not very "tough" mariaperalta.

I suppose myLot is also suffering from the effects of the economic holocaust because I don't see them hiring at all. I wonder if it would need service and support staff than customer service here. It is obvious the site lacks maintenance and proper administrations.

After the dust settles I am sure that everyone that likes Mylot will want to see it be successful. How that happens does rest on the management shoulders but also on the entire community or most of it because 'we' are all in this together. There is the profit sharing aspect but also I think the community things that make up the content. We do need people that give good direction though to be able to move forward.

You don't like the customer service inside Mylot??? Your mail to the Admin. was not answer promptly by them or because of other reasons, you need to be a little bit more specific before i can understand fully. Dealing with company that provide good customer service is always better than those that provide poor customer service, i can't possibly say otherwise on that, i can always agree with you on this from a consumer's perspective. It is part of a successful formula for every enterprises and for profit entities.

I have read many including people like lamb say we need more attention here. Yes, many as I have have had messages gone unanswered. So id like to see a few mods here each day that can answer new and old member questions. Alittle faster here.

good day mariaperalta, what you have said is true. customer service plays a vital role in the company though the position is not that high but it plays a big part as these department serves as an entrance door of every customer that inquires something about the company. thus when being assigned in the customer service, you must be a package wherein the customer will be overwhelmed with the service that the business cater.

No doubt, customer service is backbone of any business especially where service to the customer is required. Business houses not caring for their customers do not survive long as better service provider competitor push them back. But mylot is not a service providing company although members feel some thing missing some times.

Too some extent yes @ bluedoll but some companies need more than normal contact with their consumers. These are the companies who sell their products and promise to keep them in good shape for their guarantee/warrantee periods

Hey maria, Customer service is the heart of any organization. Ignoring this aspect will result into a loss of any brand / company. But I am confused as to why you are saying that customer support at mylot is poor. Do you have any instances which makes you say that? could you share some?

I will answer your question gavenkatesh but not for mariaperalta but from my perspective all right. I do not think Mylot support is poor but recently there has been a disturbance, which is unfortunate that sometime comes with changes. This has left some members feeling insecure about the future and feel disconnected. I am sure in time these new changes will get all worked out and people will feel more confident that their concerns are being looked after.

I think there were some discussions here yesterday about myLot getting a facelift. Maybe in this re-generation of the site, some of the issues we're having will all get sorted out. And maybe customer service will be one of it!

Well, I know they don't always answer back. But I have not had any major problems here. And besides, since we got that notification about MyLot getting a facelift might have something to do with it. Maybe that will be one of the changes here.
