some people when they wake up in the mornings the first thing they do is reach beside them and get their journal and write about the dreams they had. some are good some are bad. some hide them and some let others see. some publish them and others keep them just for them selves. some peole wake up and not even remember what they dreamed about. some people think that dreams are about your past or sometimes your future. i would like to hear your thoughts... do you write them down? do you remember them? me personally i keep them to myself in my mind. i use to write them down as a kid but i no longer have that book anymore. sometimes i tell my husband my dream if it was really crazzzzzy or if it was a bad dream and i felt like telling him. other than that i just keep them to my self. what was one of you most favrite or scarest dreams? (if you would like to share)

I don't get up early enough to do much besides get myself ready and out the door (yes, that includes eating breakfast). I guess part of that is because I don't remember my dreams too much, but I did this morning and it would make an interesting story...

Hi crazzydolphin, I'm the type of person always forget my dream most of the time. It's vivid and clear when I wake up from that dream in the middle of night. Majority would gone the following morning. No matter how hard I tried in vain to recall the dream. Yet there are dreams ages ago I can still remember clearly. Yeah, I would like to share most of the fantastic dreams with my hubby and kids I would like to share one of them if I have time to drop in here again Happy posting

I must say that I am actually quite a good dreamer. I dream a lot and sometimes I get a few dreams in one sleep. Though I have not recorded them in a journal or diary. Some I would remember them and some I can't recall as soon as I open my eyes that morning. If I have to say, most of my dreams were not so pleasant. I have been chased by serial killer, fought zombies and monsters, get betrayed by my friends and girlfriends. I only get good ones once in a while such as having a trip with my girlfriend and have our own baby.

i cant say as tho i am a good dreamer but i do dream almost evrey night but then again every one dreams when they fall asleep it is just a matter of if they remember it when they wake up. i cant remember them all when i wake up but many i do. dont worry i have had many that were not so pleasant....falling from a high place to the middle of no where, being eatin alive by zombies, running from wolves, vampies, ect. ect. i guess everyone has those types of dreams. and those are the dreams that seem to stick with us all the time. i ave also had somegood ones with my hsband or my friends. those are always nice to have :)

Yes, there are many people who record their dreams and become famous writers because of that. I could be very wrong here, but there was talk once that HP Lovecraft did that. however, it is the internet and I usually find that you cannot trust what is said in message forums. I actually love nightmares, because I love horror films. So I love my nightmares. If I have a good nightmare, I am very happy. I know that sounds funny, but some of us just like horror. I don't have nearly enough nightmares. But when I do, I do try to write them down and remember them.

yes I have heard about some really writers that became famous over a book about dreams. I use to think I would do something like that but it never worked out for me lol. nothing wrong with liking your nightmares :) i love horror films to I would rather watch that over anything else!

i understand that. there are some dreams that i have i can remember every detail to. others only faintmemories liek you described. and then there are some dreams i cant remember at all. so yes that would make it hard to write things down...

i dream a lot also. i remember a lot of my dreams but there are also a lot of dreams that i do not remember. i havent ever tried to look up what my dreams mean as tho i wouldnt know where to look to find out really. even as a kid i said i wrote them down but many times i forgot to or didnt have the time so there wasnt many in that book that i had but it was still something. i wouldnt show anyone either that s just me. i would tell my husband or a friend but that is bout it and i still wouldnt show them what i had written down. not to try and hide something from them but it is personal and it is something close to me that i would like to keep private.

When I was on my last medication I was dreaming on a nightly basis, most if not all of them were pretty dark and harrowing and were about my turbulent past, they came in series, not just one whole dream, but like lots of different ones, no rhyme or reason or logic as to how they played out in my head. Usually I had forgotten them because they all mixed into one. I did a have a horrid dream the night before that I was being eaten by a shark. I don't think I've ever written down my dreams, probably because they were too complex, and I didn't know how to interpret them properly. I guess a lot of them are from your sub-conscious and playing out things that have happened in the past that haven't had closure to them.

that makes sence there are a lot of dreams that i wake up and wouldnt even know where to begin if i was to write it down. i can understand that you dreams are things playing out in your head that had no closure. sometimes dreams can help you move on with things. i had a few dreams like you describe where it was like a series that played over a few nights. it was interesting and vry hard to follow but i cant remember really what it was about now. when i was growing up i always had the same recurring dream where i was dropping well falling from a very high place and all you could see under me was darkness. it was really weird and i old alwyas wake up like i was falling and it almost felt like i fell onto my bed and i would jump a little and wake out of the deepest sleep!!

I can hardly remember most of my dreams. And I've never even thought of writing them down. If I have a journal for my dreams, it will probably be empty as I will not know what to write in it...

i can understand that not everyone can remember what they dream about. i know someone who says they never dream....even if i wanted to write a journal about my dreams that i do remember i still am not sure where i would start!

Yes, some people believe that their dreams have meaning in their life so, they record them or remember them. Maybe it is right, but some people else do nothing with their dreams included me. I never mind about my dream except I have a nice dream or scare dream, other than these I never care about my dreams.

yes people believe that their dreams have meaning and i believe that to a certain extent. i mean to me some dreams do have meaning and some do not. some deal with past experiances and some are just that a dream that you have something that you are really longing for in life. i can understand you not thinking much about your dreams because i do not always think about them either except for sometimes. now the real scary ones do stay with me a lot longer than any other dream does.

As much as I want to write about my dreams, unfortunately I can't remember most of them. And if I do, I usually tell them to my husband also, although not in exact details because there are some parts of my dream that are really blurry. However, there are dreams that I do remember but it has to be an extreme one (either it's super happy or super depressing). What I usually do is to look up the meaning of my dreams in the Internet. For me, I always believe that dreams are meant to say and convey something.

i only remember some of my dreans to and as a kid i always said i was going to start writing them down but of course i never remembered or didnt have the time to do so. when i tell my husband i also leave out details...not to keep things from him but its like you said parts are fuzzy or i dont remembr them. i always seem to remember every part to asuper super happy one or a really really realy bad dream. those are the ones I would lie to forget but cant seem to! i believe the same thing that every dream has a mesage or means something....never have i actually thought to look it up online tho....well i wouldnt know where to look either lol
