Do you make wishes?

And if you do, how do you do this? Do you wish after an event, like blowing all the candles out on your birthday cake? Do you just see something and say I wish I had that? Do you make your wish a type of prayer and invest emotion into it? Does any of this work for you? I don't wish, if I want something to happen, I work to make that so. Because I believe in energy, I send the needed energy to obtain what I want. Does this mean more of what I want comes to me? I don't know, I feel it does even if the result is not what I asked for. One thing I know is that I never know enough to fortell the result or why that was the result.

I used to wish on stars, dandelion fluff, and necklace catches when they worked their way around to the pendant. I don't anymore, though. After losing my brother, mother, grandchild, and father during a 3.5 year period I guess I just lost heart. I haven't lost my faith at all, I just feel kind of crushed. I don't believe in wishes anymore because what is supposed to happen will happen whether I like it or not.

Thank you, Cynthiann. It certainly isn't an easy thing to live with and I try not to hang onto the sorrow but not to avoid it, either. Your words have helped me as I did not know that it lasted for so long for anyone other than me. I'm comforted by knowing that it's a temporary separation but that still doesn't make living without them any easier. Thank you for your encouragement and understanding.

Hi, I make wishes at any time of the day or at night by closing my eyes and making Namaskara (Prying God with two hands joining together) I wish good health for my wife me and my son, one daughter in law, new house and happiness in life. How can use energy for wishing anything?

To use energy for wishes, visualize your wish, place yourself in the wish, feel the feelings of the wish and see more detail of the wish each time you think of it. I don't know if this works or not, maybe the wish would never enter yuor head unless you were meant to think of it? Who knows maybe what we call reality is nothing more than a wish come true? I do know if a wish comes true for me, I find that I really didn't have enough information to wisely make the wish in the first place. In other words the wish turns out to be not what I wanted at all. So I rarely wish.

I always always wish. Even if I work hard to get what I want, I believe that if we wish or make a prayer, it's effective. I believe that both praying for it and working hard for it is the most effective way of getting something. It produces more energy and effectivity to get what we want.

I do make wishes and I tend to feel like there are different times that I will wish for different things. There are some things that I will see at the store and in those cases I will say that I wish I had this or that item. However I also make wishes that are more important wishes when I have a special occasion like the candles on the birthday cake or when I see a shooting star. Some of the wishes that I've made in my life have been something that come true and other wishes are never fulfilled for me.

I think everyone has made a wish with blowing out the candles. I did that as a kid, but none of my wishes ever came true. I stopped that and don't bother wishing like that. What I do wish is if I can go back in time, and I know thats impossible. So, to wrap this all up, wishes are like empty promises. They don't really exist.

I also make wishes especially at night when falling stars can be obviously seen by our eyes. Most of my wishes are hard to reach like being a millionaire, superhero, heart rob etc. I didn't treat it as a prayer because when your praying, you talk to God. There are times that when i wish for something i put emotion on it. Some of my wishes came true some are not but somehow it's a coincidence.

I do tend to make wishes and luckily some of these have come true. I am talking about the ones are easy and possible to happen. When I make a wish I invest emotion into those. Sometimes an accident happens and it has nothing to do with my wish. There can be some surprises in life which end up amazing me.

Yes, I make wishes. But I don't make it in public. I also don't need a ceremony to make a wish. Usually I will just close my eyes and hope for the best from my heart. Perhaps it will make me feel better and I just hope that my wishes can come true soon.

I visualize. It works well for me. Although as you said there are some things that we get that aren't what we really asked for. It's because we didn't put enough positive emotions in it to make it a reality. Remember only the thoughts with emotions are the ones that go through. Plus after visualizing, it is best not to think about it as it will materialize in its own time.

I don't think that I really make wishes but do pray for something. But when I pray I ask for wisdom to find a way out of my problem or guidance to achieve my wish. But then I always say from heaven;if it be Your will Lord'. does this make sense? In other words I do not expect it to be amswered miraculously (even though sometimes it has seemed so!) I am currenlty praying to earn money somehow to reduce my credit card payments as I can barely make minimum payment and the interst is 46%

I think I always make wishes even without any occasion. Like, I am just watching TV, or reading or just plain sitting down, then I would just think I wish I am this, I wish I will pass this, I wish I can afford this soon, those sort of things.
