I don't like this half of the year. It's the start of what should be spring so allergies are starting to pick up. I already know my 2 year old has allergies. Mostly to dust and pollen. She hasn't been teste for anything yest. I know she has a food intolerance to eggs. Now my son he has for months been wheezing which might by a sign of allergies is what his doctor says but it would be asthma. I hope if he has allergies too its not too bad.

Hi shybear, fortunately I don't have allergies but unfortunately my daughter and her oldest son have it, and it get really really bad sometimes. I remember years ago my oldest grandson was not allowed to go outside or even go to an open window..its not so bad for him now but my daughter and him both have to take meds everyday so they are able to function during the day...I feel so bad for them...

Mine and my daughters aren't that bad but I do take medication to help control reactions because of how many allergies I do have its hard to know when I go out if someone I come in contact has been around it or not. Thankfully I have no food allergies but just food intolerances.

Luckily were we live we don't have to much of a pollen issue like I know they do in some states. I know when it is really windy outside my kid all get sneezy..most of our allergies are animals or some food allergies. My oldest has a mild allergy to corn and soy...that is in EVERYTHING and it doesn't really even bother too bad the older has gotten. I am hoping he will just outgrow it. I have family and friend in different states and they some morning there cars are dusted yellow or orange from the pollen. I can't even imagine...I think all my kids would have a problem if we lived in an area like that.

My daughter seems to have seasonal allergies so its only bad in the summer when the pollen starts. I'm not sure about my son. O thi knee dust or dust mite allergies. Myself I have a whole bunch and have been recent ally retested since I moved back home now. We have few food allergies. My husband is allergic to kiwi, I have an egg and milk intolerance. My daughter has an egg intolerance as well.

Allergy season is something that I really don't look forward to as well. Everyone in our family suffers with some degree of allergies. For us it is something that will mostly hit us in the spring and in the fall. Our main allergies are some of the pollens and molds as well. I certainly hope that the allergies that your son is dealing with will be something that won't be so severe that he will not be able to enjoy the outdoors as he gets a little bit older.

Last year my daughter got hit with it bad with the pollen. My son has been wheezing off and on for months so that is why the I doctor thinks ist allwrgies. It's most likely like me with dust molds and that can last all year around.

I feel bad whenever my second son would have asthma attacks. He used to have frequent visits at the ER. But now that he has grown up, I have noticed that he has this cold every morning. And it usually clears up in the afternoon.

My asthma kicks up when it gets really cold or when something I'm very allergic to starts it like dust or pollen. I have to clean a lot. My daughters allergies are not bad and my son we will not know till he gets older of its just allergies making him wheeze or if he is asthmatic. It can also be sleeping problems.

Oh, it's really bad. I hope you're going to survive the season without any huge problems. The allergy season for me starts in May here, at my place. I'm hugely allergic for pollen, too, I need to take medication from late spring to early October because of it. Earlier I even had asthmatic seizures, too.

No it's never a big problem I've had allergies since I was a teen. Im use to it and so is my immune system. My daughter gets bothered by pollen which is very normal. I have some food intolerance so I can't eat much eggs or drink too much milk or I get sick. Not sure about my son since he is only 6 months and with him being under a year it's very hard to tell till they have a reaction to something.

This will be my first spring in a country where there is 4 seasons. I will soon find out if I will be allergic to the spring allergy, as what most of the folks around here like to call it. I know for a fact that I am not really allergic to flowers and pollen, but then, I have little contact with these back home.

It's summer allergies. Spring is the starting of allergies. Most people have season allergies where they aren't really allergiect they are lathered by pollen. I have both allergies and seasonal allergies. My allergies as well as my daughters are better in the winter I just got to worry about dust in the home with all of these allergies. My son I have to look out for.

For the 2 year old have you tried children's Claritin? Or you might want to try Benadryl, I'm no doctor, Zyrtec works wonders for me, but I have heard it is not really recommended for children due to the side effects (basically hyper-activity). Of course check with their doctor. I know of several people that have an intolerance to eggs (might be something in the chemicals they process the eggs with), anyway of the ones I know of (myself included) Egglands Best, they are more expensive but they stay down. Or if you are able to get some Farm Fresh Eggs that might work for her. I hope your son doesn't have asthma, see if the doctor can check his O2 levels.

I give my daughter over the counter allergy medication. My son can't have anything because he is less then a year and 22% of children that wheeze are asthmatic. I also give allergy medication for when she has colds. Wasn't looking for a recommendation on what to give either of my two. She won't eat eggs at all and she not beef o eat them. I don't eat them that often. I do like them but I limit myself since all eggs will make me sick. The same wilth milk for me. My daughter can drink milk like its going out of style. If he isn't having an attack they won't check and his wheezing isn't that often thus the reason both me and the doctor believe its allergies but she will fallow up of it at his 9 month check up which is in two months.
