I was given a digital camera in 2004 by my ex boyfriend. It took XD memory cards. These were short lived though and now I have a different camera that takes SD memory cards. I finally found my memory cards of South America in 2012. I have two more SD memory cards for my trip to Eastern Europe. My laptop has a drive that takes SD memory cards. I am so happy to have been able to upload all my South American travel photos on to the pictures on my laptop. I keep my XD memory cards stored but I can't do very much with them. My current camera isn't compatible with them. How about your memory cards?

Since both of my digital cameras are Fuji, and usually they use XD card. My later Fuji camera can use both XD and CF card. That's better since CF card was cheaper a lot in the past. I still keep my XD cards since I can regard them as the backup memory cards. They are small and I can put them into the digital camera bag.

Hello You Less. My cameras have been Olympus and Fuji in the past. This time around I have a Samsung camera. It is small and it has 18 times zoom which is fantastic. Thanks for your excellent response to my discussion.

I've got quite a lot. I wanted to buy new 2GB ones, but they don't sell them anymore so I got a 4 GB one instead. Next time the smallest one I could find was 8 GB, so now I've got several 1GB ones, one 4 GB and one 8 GB. All my digital cameras use the same kind of memory cards, so I've also got some really small ones that I got with my first digital camera. I think the smallest one is 64 kB, so I can use it in my new DSLR but I can't take more than one picture I think.

I don't have a digital camera any longer, I dropped my last one and I never bothered to replace it, the last time I used it was on holiday to Rhodes, I took a load of pictures which I downloaded onto my old Mac, sadly my old Mac gave up there was a problem with the motherboard, so I lost all my photos, I can't remember if I still have the memory card, otherwise I could download them again.

One of them is almost ruined, but luckily we got our photos of alaska and the other photos on the computer. I have a connector that attaches to my laptop and a card that takes in different sized sd cards so am okay. But now with my iphone, I can take photos and transfer them to the computer. I do prefer nature scenes rather then that of people, but my husband was the opposite.
