Good morning myLot!!!
Time check here in Manila is 9:20 am. Good morning to all the myLotters based here in the Philippines! Good day to all the myLotters based at the other side of the world. Was spurned to write this post after reading BigMoney25 's post, 'How Did You Spend Your Morning?'. You can read the post in the link below.
To expound what I wrote as a reply to the discussion, I woke up earlier than usual to do my set of torchers. Torchers is a fancy word I use to to talk about the exercise routine I do. Seven exercises done one minute each with a ten second rest in between. I did three sets to really feel the burn early in the morning. i would have gone out to run but the rain was a downer.
Got prepared for work and traffic was surprisingly light. Been sitting in front of the pc pretending to 'work' Already finished two cups of green tea and right now, I'm between doing my posts and comments here in myLot, watching WWE's Summerslam on mute, and listening to the top trending songs on Sound Cloud.
How's that for multi-tasking?
Do you ever multi-task? You any good at it?

Speaking of Summerslam, The WWE Universal championship belt looks atrocious. The women's championship belt looks manlier than it. It is so ugly.

This was for last year's Summer Slam @CaptAlbertWhisker .
Yeah, the belt doesn't hold up to the current and previous championship belts. It is underwhelming to say the least.

Hey there allen0187! Thanks for acknowledging my past post in this thread. Wow, I am surprised as well that the traffic wasn't that bad when you went out for work I mean the traffic here in NCR is usually the worst! With all the people easily getting new cars because of the low downpayment that car dealerships offer, it is now easier for people to get a car and the product of this is the astonishingly heavy traffic every day!
Hey, that's some multitasking you've got going on in there my friend, well I'm kinda good at multitasking too I can say. My internet browser here on my laptop has what? Like 12 to 15 different tabs running while I work I mean it's kinda the trend nowadays, you have to keep up with the pace of this world with all the technology right now.
And good for you to be exercising before you go to work. But as for me, I hit the gym and workout after work in the afternoon. I go early in my job as early as 7 then put in 8 hours a day so I can leave the office by 3, it is allowed in our company because of the flexi time scheme as long as you put in 8 hrs each day. I also do this to avoid the rush hour :)

It is news if there is no traffic in Metro Manila, that is how used we are to traffic. Really sad... ***sigh***
I pick tasks that I can do at the same time. Not all tasks are equal though. Some demand more attention than others.
I try to run and do my torchers before going to work but I still train after work. Usually it is boxing or muay thai or mma or some sort of circuit training.

Used to think I was pretty good at multi-tasking. But I know for sure I'm no good at it now! The brain neurons just don't fire like they used to!

Some studies do say that multi-tasking is counter-productive. I guess, it is a case to case basis. There are tasks that you can do with your eyes close and thus do something else while doing it. There are tasks that demand your full attention and you are pressed to just concentrate on that until the task is finished.

I listen to podcsts as I work on my PC or around the house. Sometimes I get so caught up that I might have to listen once again from some point in the middle. I do gardening when I take a break from the computer.. I have a few other things running simultaneously, washing, ironing, cleaning up and stuff.

I need to get motivated to work out..but in this heat i have no energy....maybe when it cools down..
i love to multi task..helps me to stay busy!

The heat can be a big impediment in getting a good work out. Multitasking isn't just about being busy, it is about being more productive .

I believe I am good at multitasking too (that's what hubby told me... ) Great job with the torches.
