Do you read product descriptions? / myLot

When you are shopping online, do you read the product descriptions of the items that you are buying? Or do you just go by the picture on the website, if there is one? I usually will read product descriptions, especially if I am shopping someplace new or I am unfamiliar with the item.

I try to read the product description. I must admit the only thing that I bought online were shoes

Most of the time I tend to check online simply to ascertain which store has the best price and then visit that store to purchase the item. I did buy a printer from Amazon a while back, but after confirming the prices I visited PC World to view the model before ordering from Amazon. I do not believe in buying something unseen.

I rarely shop online, but if I do I'd like to read as much details as I could possibly get before deciding to order. Picture is often misleading, I don't rely on it alone.
