The Princess

A friend asked me to post a picture of the Princess. She is on the bare bathroom floor in this photo. It seems sometimes she likes to lay on the cool tile, or in the cool bathtub, or downstairs in the cool shower. Note a theme. Cool surfaces.
She does not really like air conditioning or fans, but she does want her comfort.
At eleven years old or more she is developing the occasional while hair but her fur is thick and glossy.
This is the first year she has acted like she has fleas since that time I put flea killer on her when she was too young.
I hope she still likes to ride in cars, but we have not tried in a while. She will have to go for rides soon.

Cute kitty. My cat does the same but also lets me "bathe" him with a wet washcloth.

That should really help with fleas and keep him a little cooler too.

I find warm water and Skin So Soft from Avon helps and gets rid of fleas. You should read up on it. And, it's not as bad as the chemicals that some companies use...

Cats usually do love the cool surfaces.
She is a lovely cat GG.
I hope she does not have fleas.

We are thoroughly treating the new place inside and out and she will see the vet before we move.

It seems a cute cat. I think cats and puppies love the cool surface of floor and feel comfortable lying on a cool surface. May be they love natural environment more.

Basically she is a really good kitty, but my sister spoiled her. I may start making her food to help her stay healthy.

Princess is twelve years old, the best I can remember. While we were in the midst of moving, she rode out the driveway on hubby's car roof and slid off. She must have been hurt, perhaps had a concussion. She was missing for four days. We were glad to get her moved here to the new house, where she basically rules the roost. She does not play with toys too often, but when she does it is a lot of fun.

She is very pretty, but then I think all kitties are pretty, mine isn't solid colored so at 9 years old I can't tell if she's getting any grey.

Have you guys moved yet? I guess not since you said she hasn't been in a car in awhile. Yes giving her short rides to and thro will help to acclimate her to a longer ride. Cats seem to be attracted to either heat or cold, sometimes both. I don't know what it is about sinks either.

I am a cat person. My Lacey is 16 now. She is getting a little slower, but doing good.
She gets cold easy so doesn't do cool surfaces so much anymore.
Princess is pretty.

My mom's cat hates to get into a car. My mom always thought that it was just her cat that hated it. Will have to tell her!
