Hello everyone!
I am a newbie here, trying to explore the world of mylot. I hope you are all doing fine. Why am I here? Honestly, I am here to earn. I think most of us do. But I am also here to learn. I love to read and I am interested to learn anything from different folks especially those from other places. One of the reason for this is because I love to travel though financially, I cannot afford it but by reading, I get to know places, people, traditions whom I get to share with my kids.
I am a stay at home mom for 3 years now. I resigned my work because my son has special needs. And because of this, I want to earn extra for my kids. It has been difficult financially since I resigned from work but nevertheless the happiness and fulfillment it gave me being with my kids can never be computed.
I would love to share my thoughts with all of you!
I do hope to meet friends and mentors here.
I hope to earn here too!

Welcome to MyLot! It takes a little while before you'll begin to see your earnings building up but, basically, the more that you interact with people, especially in your own discussions, the better it will be.
I suggest that you first read everything under "Help", especially the Community Guidelines and the Earnings Program FAQs. That will tell you what you can and can't do here and something about how earnings work (and also how to get paid, when you qualify for payment). If you have any more questions once you have read those, you can ask and you find people very friendly and ready to help but you may find many questions that people often ask answered here:

@rakski Before MyLot ended the earnings program in May 2013, I believe that I was earning between $5 and $12 a month here (so getting paid every other month, roughly). There were many who were earning more than that, though.
Since the new system began, in July 2015, only one or two have reached the minimum and will receive their earnings on or before the 15th September. Based on my current averages, I might expect to be paid either mid-October or mid-November but I can't stress enough that everybody is different!. What I do is no guide whatsoever to what you can expect to do!
The ONLY good guide to what YOU can expect is to find a consistent level and style of working which you are comfortable with and to look at your average earnings over several days. If you find that it's less than you expected (or not enough), then take steps to change it by, for example, interacting more with other people so that they will be more likely to visit your discussions and give you more chances to interact with them there.
