Which is your favorite email account. I have only 4 email accounts now and they are Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Aol and best of all they are all free . I have them all under different names because I recieve different things at these emails. I used to have more accounts but I let them go by the wayside for lack of time. Some are for personal use, some for survey sites and other for miscellaneous. How many email accounts do you have and what are they for.

I use only my Gmail account. But I like your idea of having different accounts for different purposes. Maybe I should try that too.

@inertia4 Yahoo does not seem to be very reliable any more but I do like their YIM for some friends.

I started out with yahoo and it is my main email account. I used to have a bevy of other accounts but they slowly disappeared. Some of them changed or just closed and some of them wanted to start charging. It had been my goal to have accounts for specific things that would generate a lot of emails like surveys or mystery shopping but I found it too confusing to remember how each email account worked. Also some of them would not be recognized by the site I was signing up with. So since everyone recognized yahoo I just let everything go there and then I sorted it all into folders. For me this works much better.

I only keep my yahoo account open because I have friends that use YIM and that is how we communicate usually.

@Marcyaz I've learned to use mine to store emails that has information I want to refer to later. Because if you store it on your hard drive and something happens to your computer you lose all you have there but if it is in your email files you can access it anywhere and from any computer.

@Marcyaz Gmail now implemented Undo sent option , block or unsubscribe unwanted mail option . I think undo sent option is nothing but we can undo the sent mail if we come to know that is sent to a wrong person or the draft have to been edited . That too can be done in 30 minutes .

When you don't have the time then it is good to have only one account.

@simone10 If you start doing surveys I can tell you of one that is really good and pays good, I have belonged to for about 7years but yes it would be a good idea to have another account for only them.

I also at one time had a Hotmail account but then some sites I was a member of hotmail wouldn't let me go into them so I had to get a different provider for those sites.

I do have an Outlook account, but I rarely consider using it. The main reason for opening this account was to have a Microsoft account for use in Windows 8 and Windows 10. I do have several email addresses via my ISP because I am allowed to create unlimited mailboxes. This enables me to segregate mail accordingly as it arrives. There is also one allocated to me .co.uk domain which I host via my ISP, so that is accessible from the same source.

I have my main paid for e-mail account, though I mainly use my Hotmail one, mostly as it is easy to access through remote computers such as library computers, etc. I am on Gmail too but rarely use that.

Oh. I think I almost 10 email accounts and I don't even how did it happen. I certainly remember getting bored and creating emails because I've been using my current ones everywhere. Now I'm proud to say I've only came to 2 email accounts. That's progress.

That certainly is progress to go from ten email accounts to two. I also used to have a lot of accounts but now I only have a few which makes it easier.

I currently have two, but I mainly look at only one of them. I did set one up for surveys, but I've not done any of those for about four or more years. I've recently thought about having separate ones for each of the sites where i write and then if I were to get email notifications of new posts it would be easier to find what i wanted to check out-maybe.
