would you like to lead a gamorous life the same way like celebrities? personally I wouldn't. sure their life might seem charming but I think we shouldn't envy others for what they have.

No way! It's so....well,boring! You get everything you want which is lame because you didn't earn it. People expect you to be a social rock star with awesome conversational skills and chide you when you aren't. I like being silent because it's just me thinking, nobody else bleeding into my thoughts with obnoxious expectations. People expect you to go along with everyone else which is lame, no points for originality. Fashion is suddenly important when moral excellence should be. Not to mention too much expectations!! I just wanna be myself without restraint. ^_^

yes the expectations are great when you become known. think about roger federer: everyone always expects him to win all the time but people seem to lose out of sight that he's only human

We should not envy-that is right. But we must be aware of the fact that people like you and me who are no one in the world have many other benefits. We can walk around the city, frequent bars and night clubs and casinos and no one will care what we are upto. That is not possible for the celebrities. If we have extraordiary ability in a field, that will help us become a star and that is great.

yes indeed. when it comes to such things I always think about poor michael jackson who was never able to lead a normal and happy life

I want to be known for modeling in the future but somehow I don't think I'd like the fame that goes with it. So contradictory that it's screwing my life somehow.

@swissheart Not exactly, I'm on the fringe because of my indecision. Fame or no fame, that is the question.

I'd hate that level of adulation - I'd like to do well as a writer rather than a highly visible pop or movie star

@swissheart no, I have had a few modest sales and a little income - I count what we get hear as a writing income too, but I'm not yet in a position to write professionally.

No thanks I would like to be left alone. I value my privacy more than money.

I share the same feeling as you. plus you can make money to lead a decent life-style even if you're not a celebrity

Perhaps I am a celebrity masquerading here under a false name - and it's the only way I can have normal friendships.

I'd rather be rich than famous. I used to write for Yahoo Contributor Network and I had a couple posts hit the front page of Yahoo many years ago and that made me feel "famous" and that was just way too much for me. I like being "unknown" for the most part. I'm shy and I get too scared when too many people know me.
