I'm lost. Now where's the airport?

Imagine this.
You woke up in a strange location and you've no idea where you are or how you got there. Your goal is to find the airport to fly back home.
........
Sounds like a nightmare, but guess what, if you ever want to have a virtual experience of this (and have some time to waste) you can try playing the Mapcrunch airport game. Just go to the Mapcrunch website, click "Options", check the "Stealth" box (this will hide your location) and press "N" on your keyboard.
You'll be taken somewhere random and your goal is to figure out the way to the airport.
I don't know who started this game but at one point in 2012 the site got so many visitors that it crashed.
Anyway. I'm stranded on a dirt road with trees and shrubs around. Looks like it's not going to be very easy to find my way out.

My husband has found his way out of many real world situations like this, but I would probably stay helplessly lost.

At least with this game you know you won't get eaten by wild animals or anything!

It would definitely be more challenging if they had included wolves in the game too.

Can we just ask the nearest person "Where is the airport?" 
I suppose that may be a little hard being on a dirt road with trees and shrubs!

I know right! I gave up on that one, haha. 
The second place I got teleported to was a bit better, passed through towns and workshops and stores. But yeah, if only I could ask for directions!

It seems terrible being trap in such as situation. But actually, if I have lot of money, it would make a nice adventure!

@cahaya1983 I never found an airport, but I DID find a 7-11. A nice man by the dumpster offered to give me a ride......but he didn't mean in a car lol
