Insomnia, I guess

I went to bed at a decent time, slept well for almost four hours, then got up to use the restroom. I could not go back to sleep at all so I got out of bed at 3. When hubby got up at 5 I went right back to sleep and now I am up. Ready to "play and learn". When I was up the first time I found a Swag Bucks Survey that I could do, and did a little bit here. I will be making a breakfast sometime, I am really hungry now. and have finished my first cup of coffee. Do you have insomnia, and what do you do about it?

I think for me it has to do with how high my blood sugar is at the time I go to bed.

If I wake up in the night and cannot sleep I have a glass of milk and a biscuit, that mostly works, so I guess it is hunger that wakes me up.

The carbohydrates and calcium also are sleep aids.

I have gotten to where Ibuprofen gives me stomach pain. I may have been hungry. I went back to bed after eating a banana.

I am enduring this sleeping problem these days. I can only sleep 4 hours or less than four. Sometimes I am playing my favorite music to treat it.

Sometimes if you play music your subconscious will try to sing the words and keep you awake.

I had a terrible time sleeping last night, I think it was because hubby was snoring up a storm.

Hubby will go to bed and be snoring, until I get to bed then it stops. It also helps to put a fan blowing gently across our faces then he does not snore.

I wouldn't say I have insomnia but some nights I do wake up a lot. I usually just stay in bed and eventually fall back to sleep.

Yes I have trouble sleeping for very long and am awake every night at least once. I get up and try to read so that I don't toss and turn and wake my husband. I've been like this for years.

Scientists claim that 80% of reason to insomnia is lack of physical activity or nerve system being overexcited. So i try to do physical exercises and stay calm at least during 1 hour before sleep or take light sleeping pills in bad cases.

When I have had enough sleep I get up and do a few things on the internet with a cup of tea and then later sleep for another four hours or so!
