Today has been one of those days where I could never seem to get out of my own way. No matter what I did today, I made the job seem longer and less productive. I managed to wash the load of towels that I forgot to dry yesterday, thus leaving them a bit stale and mildewy but The Boy pulled them from the dryer damp. Whatever. I am only doing that twice. I folded the slightly damp towels and put them in the bathroom. They will use them all in a day and they are just going to wrap their wet, showered bodies in them anyway. I started something on the loom, and pulled it all out three times and started over, and honestly, I have no idea what I am making so why am I being so fussy? Whatever. It relaxes me to loom knit, much more than real knitting. It's something for my fingers to do while my mind races elsewhere. This afternoon the breeze pulled all the clouds apart and swirled them into some secret cumulus calligraphy in the sky. I thought if only I could read this strange sky language, I would unravel more than just my knitting, I could unravel the mysteries of the universe. But try as I might, I could not decode it. Whatever. I really should have spent more time on my various online activities and even daily real life activities. I didn't. Whatever. Oh well, tomorrow's another day.
